I used to think chics with a little tattoo somewhere was kind of hot until every soccer mom on the planet got one.

Now I think it's hot to not have one.

That's because most guys like women who are a little sleazy, but when they all act sleazy, it's not as much fun.

Kids are very accepting unless they have been taught not to be. There's no reason why a child should be scared of tattoos, and most of them aren't (I know several places that serve family meals where some of the staff (male and female) have visible tattoos, and I've never seen it being a problem at all). If some particular kid has been taught not to accept them, that isn't the tattooed person's fault, any more than it would be the fault of a black waiter if some kid who has been brought up by racists freaks out at being served by a black person.

Not being illegal doesn't necessarily make it right.

It didn't used to be illegal to discriminate against black people.

Those hot chicks with tattoos got older and became soccer moms. Most women don't stay hot into their 30s. Guys age a little more gracefully, but our shelf life is limited also.

I am talking the extreme, not just regular Tats. If you go to the extreme with them and do not realize it may narrow your job prospects I would call that very naive.

Just like you would not find many Obese people looking for Modeling jobs, appearance counts. Would you expect your Preacher to have a Nazi symbol on his forehead? Or how about spiders on the hand that is serving you, might be a bit distracting....
I doubt a Life Ins salesman would do well with a checkered face, or a Luger on his neck.

Many times the confidence a person has in you [especially judgement, advice] depends on your appearance. If that confidence is shaken, a sale most likely will be lost. If you are not taken seriously then half the Battle is lost, in sales especially you do not get many second chances.

Watch, now somebody will tell you that you have no right to feel that way,,you MUST accept the older Tat woman just the same, you must find her just as attractive otherwise you are a horrible prejudice person.

It would seem some folks just do not understand, people have a right to their personal tastes. If I know there is a chance I may be served at a restaurant by a person with a tattooed face then I will avoid that restaurant. A large part of dining out is the atmosphere, right or wrong being served by a person with blue Ink all over their face does not stimulate my appetite...

" Must accept ". Where's that written. Tattoo's were taboo for decades for a good reason.
Just because everybody's doin' it { has one } does not make it good or adviseable.
It's like saying ... Oh well everybody nowadays Cheats on their SAT exam.
Or Most everyone cheats on their spouse. Or Parish priests now don't even
give out penance { Hail Mary's and Our Fathers } just priestly words of caution no
matter the gravity of the sin.
This is how Society's fall. Incrementally.
First it's stealing a loaf of bread then it's stealing a car then it's
    robbing a bank.Then it's burglarzing a home at gunpoint.
Then it's burglarzing a home at gunpoint and raping those of interest and
beating them to a pulp so they can't say who done it.
First it's a little small tattoo near my ankle. Then another one on my back.
Then on my forearm and then my hands.
    Stop the Insanity.
Tattoo's serve no purpose other than as a branding. If cattle had their druthers
they would decline every time a branding iron. But then Humans aren't cattle,at least
in most communities and cattle are branded to protect the heard from cattle rustlers.
Tattoo can not ever increase one's I.Q. Or improve their humor or personality.
One won't adopt a work ethic on account some tattoo.
Tattoo are about the single most absurdist human tendency besides being a
perpetual rummy { common gutter drunk }.

The reason behind the now joyous celebration of tattoo's is Political.
The same reason behind MTV. or today's reality shows.
It's the fastest and most beneficial way to dumb down an entire culture.
    Like what Huge Liberals Jerry Springer { who practically adores Obama }
and Maury Povich have accomplished. That being to CONTROL the culture.
The better to avoid any seriousness when it comes to very dire societal
issues that need the public's ear and heart. The reason that Pro-life
protestors are treated like criminals and Abortionist like royalty.
Our Music and Movies and Hollywood icons portent how functional a
society operates. When we see how easy icons can lean toward things like
divorce { used to be considered far more serious } and bad public outbursts
and spoiled brattiness, then Society tends to mimic and accept.
It's the open acceptance of things that once were taboo that is going to
    keep this country in decline.

I really don't have a problem with tats or piercings or any of that stuff. None of my business but I don't have to like it or not.

I saw a pretty good tat this weekend at the Buffalo Wing Fest. I was wearing a Steeler jersey and since me and my family are a pretty damn good looking family we get a lot of attention. We were filmed for the local channel 2 news, I've appeared in a Pizza Hut commercial that they filmed there in the past, I've been interviewed by the local newspaper, we're on their website every year, we're given free stuff, it's a pretty amazing event.

Anyway, this guy saw my jersey and had to show me his tat on his leg and I had to take a pic of it. I hope the mods don't delete it, it's just a tattoo.

That's a Terrible Towel around her waste btw.

I dunno, I think there are some pretty amazing looking women in their 30's and 40's.

My wife is 48 and while she's not the hot piece of ass she was in her teens and 20's, she's still just as cute as the day I met her 31 years ago.

We just celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary yesterday.

Congrats! I think the comments were more about the tattoos sagging, not the women themselves.

We're in the same boat. (similar boats) I just know my wife is way better looking than all of her friends and the wife of anybody I know anywhere near my age. (47) If I grow my grey beard, people think she is my daughter. Last year, she went out to eat with my oldest son, who was 20 at the time, and the waitress at Chili's thought they were on a date.

I'll complete the introduction. This is my family 1 year ago. We were about to go ziplining in Okalona, AR.

Oh I do not mind most, some can be very attractive. It's the extreme I find repulsive, especially on the face. It's their life, their body and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Just do not come in my office with a face looking like one big spider web, and ask for a job as an Ins Salesman....[or a funeral director] This is when common sense takes over,,or should..

As always the youth in all counties rally's around rebellion, it's as old as the Hills. If extreme loud music turns adults off, then play it, if skirts half way up your butt upsets your parents, cut it shorter. If a certain Tat on a young lady embarrasses her father to death, then it's a must,,,especially if your boyfriends name is ''Bug''.

Now of course there are many reasons for Tats and not all have to do with ''attention'', and rebellion. I am sure Tats on ones back are admired by the wearer all day, it also comes in handy at the Beach as a ''Look at me'' Billboard I imagine, and what about the face, who's benefit is that for? Does the person stare in Mirrors all day?, or perhaps it's a statement to society?

Maybe, just maybe a future employer does not want that statement staring at his customers, ya think?

Again, I am talking about the extreme...., and not the little Heart Molly finds so attractive around her Belly button, although at fifty it may look more like one Giant Lint Ball....ugg....

    off topic -
Handsome family you have. I think you mean Okolana, Arkansas. It's south of Little Rock, AR; I was stationed at LRAFB for military training, that's how I remember the name.

    on topic -
Visible tattoos detract from a professional appearance, they make a person look less competent...I'm not saying they make them less competent, but it gives off an unprofessional vibe.

First of all, let me tell you that I don't have a tattoo and never will. Its just not for me. But I couldn't care less what others paint on their bodies. Its a personal choice.
However, I have a question re tattoos.
Some, if not most, are fairly complex, some are only partly visible, depending what part of the body and/or clothing is covering the particular part of the body.
So here is my question. Is it rude to stare in order to figure out a tattoo? I mean, if someone gets a tattoo, they want people to look at it, and I am ...well...nosy (?).
But looking at another person's body can easily be misinterpreted.
I often just ask, but as a general rule, what would our tattooed members suggest?

it's a sliding scale based on the artistic quality of the tattoo and the hotness of the chick it's on.

I think that depends on where you live. I hear that up North, you aren't supposed to make eye contact. In Texas, almost everybody nods or says hello. If I'm that curious, I'll ask them. Most people like their tattoos or they at least have a good story about waking up hung over with a new tattoo.

Trust me no where no how is anyplace besides possibly Harlem and
Dogpatch { Li'l Abner } is it taught to not make eye contact.
In fact,in the world of white collar jobs,to not make eye contact
    is a disqualification.
