and keep the books open as the price goes up even more

Take personal responsibility for their own budget? It's pretty simple stuff.

Only a loser would blame someone else for their bad budgeting skills.

Can you point to anyone blaming the voters? Or is this post just another deflection? Just provide one post blaming the voter for energy policy. You can do that, right?

The same working class people who's jobs are in China, outsourced by "American" companies? The same working class, that if they had jobs they've not had a pay increase since the late 60's?

And don't give me the Unions and Regulations line; Germany has far stronger Unions and far greater environmental regulations than the US. This is about US company greed, plain and simple.

Why don't you ask that to three of the top four grossing companies in the world, which are all oil companies?

oh yeah, "Democrats" are the cause of high gas prices. Yet you ignore the gas price surge under Bush.

The reason why gas prices are increasing is because of increased demand from China and India for fossil fuels. Also, because it's getting harder to obtain petroleum since the easy (*)(*)(*)(*) has already been gotten. The petroleum that exists now is deeper down in the ground.

Obviously you blame Obama for all things bad in the universe. Got it. So how do you explain the surge in prices under Bush? Was it his bad oil policy?

This isn't about me. Our energy policy has been hurting us for decades. And it's getting worse.

Do you think it's logically possible to endorse republican economic policies without necessarily subscribing to your low opinion of the American working class?

If we'd paid attention to President Carter we would be much better off today.
But Reagan came in and scuppered his environmental policies.
He discarded the studies Carter had done and tried to discredit them, but two further studies he commissioned gave him the same results. Finally, he found some cheap shill who told him what he wanted to hear, so he ran with that, and that's why we get to hear you whine today about your problems paying your gas bills.
So chins up, girl. You got what you deserved, and you have your saint ronnie to thank for it.
    Karma's a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*), ain't it?

Eh, when Obama took office gas was around $1.80/gal

The price has doubled under the Hope and Chage Kid

Amazing how libs now rant how the President is not to blame for high gas prices. That "D" at the end of Obama's name does change the standards libs hold the President to these days

Again the prices of gas has doubled and food prices are soaring as well

Dems and the liberal media blamed Bush daily for high gas prices

The double stanards for libs is not unusal but expected

Gasoline expenses are approximately 9% of my gross business income. Sure, I can claim it come tax time, but by the end of the year I've spent a lot on it, and a slight increase in fuel cost which sustains or expands makes quite a difference once it's all said and done. I either find a way to cut expenses elsewhere... or increase my rates.

So will either lay off workers, cut back on investment or increase your prices

Which means you add to the unemployment problem, the lack of growth of the economy, or inflation

Yes, Obamanomics continues to rack up continued success stories all over the nation

Just watch..right before the election the price of gas will go down..

since I'm retired and all the kids are grown up with good jobs I'll drive down into town once a week and run all my errands..

I could care less about who's going to be president..
I say get all those useless bums out of congress and the senate first..
congress has a 5% favorable mark right now according to the latest poll..
    that is pathetic..
that same poll also mentioned that 43% of Americans would favor a random pick from the yellow pages for replacing members of congress..

If it happens right before the election it will not do any good. Most people make up their minds by Labor Day. So high gas prices during the summer driving season could doom Obama

What people ignore when they talk about the approval rating of Congress is the Dem run Senate

No bills brought up for a vote that have passd the House

No budget passed by the Dem run Senate in 3 YEARS

and Reid continue to do nothing in the Senate yet he whines about the R's blocking everything
