Maybe your intensive research missed one or two facts. "Can Homeless People Vote? In the past, states required voters to show proof of physical residence before they allowed them to register to vote. However, courts have struck down these laws and now states must only require people registering to vote to list a place they consider their residence, or where they sleep at night. In many states, this can be a shelter, or even a bench in the park." https://www.findlaw.com/voting/my-v...ess-vote--can-you-legally-cast-a-ballot-.html
You waste your time. If I don't find something in my research, I ask. Now... do you have an answer to the question I asked? How many would you need to sway an election and how much would you pay them to be worth the effort and the risk of going to jail? It's a question for the more informed posters. You need not bother...
Following the 2016 election all I heard was leftie screech about how few votes it would have taken to reverse the outcome in a few swing states to completely reverse the outcome. In CA it is clear ballot harvesting turned once strong republican areas in blue much to the amazement of the residents. As for going to jail, you make me laugh.
Hindsight is wonderful. But if today you knew which states and what that margin will be in 2020, you can make millions in LV Your post is ridiculous. There are much more effective ways of using the money to bribe thousands of homeless people in just one state, which are both more effective and won't land you and them in prison.
Deflection is a terrible way to go through life. If Bloomberg is willing to spend $100 million in one state, you research the math.
Wow you really don't think outside the little box do you No one has to literally ask, they could simply make nice little gestures like food, drink, blankets, clothing, tents, blankets MAYBE even a small monetary gift.. Oh did I mention the BIG "VOTE BIDEN" badge, sweatshirt or whatever "Hint-hint" the volunteers are wearing.. Christ, you need to learn how propagandist works Golem So Science be damned in this instance Clearly it's a forensic degree but now Golem doesn't follow the scientific community and states any commoner can perform the same thing a forensic major went to school to learn As for you're lil sig, in this case you didn't prove it's validity at all Plus all the times you have been called on major discrepancy on subject matter(s) the sig really doesn't have much relevance anymore other then self gratification
This might come as a shock to some Trump supporters, but spending $100million in one state legally is not the same as spending $100 million in one state illegally. You're right about deflecting. So stop deflecting and answer the question. How many homeless and how much would they pay each to make it worth the risk of going to prison and that would make any difference in the elections? Because another terrible way to go through life is projecting. I can think of many many much better and more effective ways to use $100 million to help win an election than your nonsense. And they are legal.
You assessment of American workers is a bit cynical, in my opinion. If you can handle working a cash register, you can handle the simple instructions for processing ballots. If you can handle dealing with John Q. Public in a restaurant setting, you can handle the simple instructions for processing ballots. Party affiliations are checked, and no one person is left alone to handle ballots. And you have absolutely no way of assessing their love for their country, that's just snarky. You are trying really hard to find fault with the ballots and the people who are trained to process them. This is the last reply you'll fet from me on this issue. It's a complete waste of my time to continually respond to this nitpicking. Back on point, please. Trump is doing his best to create doubt, confusion and fear. All you're doing, in my opinion, is helping him.
They are sent to the address you provided when you registered to vote. Period. Why do you keep harping on this after all of the information that's been given to you on this thread?
So Democratic volunteers are... (Gasp!) wearing "Vote Biden" buttons? Pure corruption! Because volunteers for the Democratic Party should only wear "Vote Trump" buttons, right? And handing out food and drink is "corruption"? Oh, the humanity! Look... your desperation to try to find a justification for the idiotic words of your "idol" is showing. Just accept the fact that "The Leader" is a pathological liar and stop trying to justify him. It doesn't make you look good. Go on and vote for him, if you must. But all these excuses his followers are trying to find for him are just.... (I can't even say because you'll report me... so I'll leave it to your imagination. Heck! You'll probably report me anyway)
You are wrong.. The more hands something pass's through the greater chance of human error.. You are talking about the creation of a ballot or flyer or whatever within a process facility with departmental quality checks till the product is shipped! THEN your company no longer has control of the items and quality control becomes the responsibility of the shipper, and SO ON until your product reach's it's destination or distribution stop, say a voting booth.. It would be silly to argue human error doesn't have or had a negative impact on performance, quality and reliability! In regards to voting, digital and the simple act of showing up and casting a vote will never be as insecure as the USPS, NEVER! As I have stated, mail is destroyed all the time from idiots tampering with mail box's alone.. The human factor is a thing
See what I mean. never outside the box when you're on the ropes Does it really have to be any one party? It could just be a person/volunteer answering a add to "Pass out" stuff while wearing a Trump hat. Come on man Opsie The Golem spins off on the ridiculous, real PRO Golem, real pro OH MY I suppose the same can be said of your lack of counter points, was it the part about Homeless can't vote that nurtured this silly rebuttal OH MY WORD We are certainly off on a tangent Lets try and remember your TOPIC of YOUR THREAD good sir.. And those great words to live by, I know I do!
Then again the folks most in favor of the mail-in are reluctant to address the signature verification process! So far even a McDonalds worker possess the same expertise as a trained forensic expert
Here we go. It's from 2018, but good enough for a ballpark estimate. Homeless in Michigan: 8,575 Michigan 2016 margin of victory: 10,704 Pennsylvania Homeless: >15,000 MoV: 44,292 Wisconsin H: 4,538 MoV: 22,748 The magic number is the MoV plus one, and unless the homeless population increased drastically over the last two years, there aren't enough homeless to sway an election. Anyone attempting this would be risking incarceration for nothing.
And in some states, including mine, you can register right up to the date you vote. But again, it is not only fraud. Mail in votes are declared invalid in large numbers. For example, NPR found over a half million mail votes which were declared invalid.
Yes, this is a concern. Here's the article. There's not much we can do outside of educating people on their state's ballot process. There will always be people who forget to sign the ballot and other common mistakes, but this number is significant. Must be why Democrats are telling people to educate themselves on the ballot process. There are remedies, and hopefully people have learned from their mistakes in the primaries.
I give you that faulting Democratic volunteers for wearing a "Vote Biden" button is waaaay outside the box. But it also makes my point about how far from reality Trump loyalists are willing step away from to justify "The Leader's" pathological lying, and his obsession to become a dictator.
Pfffffff Clearly your second statement is just as bad as what you are trying to distance yourself from.. Just more Personal/Party insults, mixed with hyperbolic opinion and some nonsense about Trump, dictator, liar, pathological and obsession! To be realistic, Trump may not be the only one displaying obsessive behavior, seems to be a very prevalent character flaw among many Americans in this country these day
Are you talking about these reports? https://www.npr.org/2020/07/13/8897...nds-of-mail-in-ballots-rejected-for-tardiness https://www.npr.org/2020/08/22/9046...e-ballots-rejected-in-2020-far-outpacing-2016 The first link is about ballots that were turned in or mailed too late. That's on the voters. The second link is about ballots where voters were unable to follow simple instructions, that, too, is on the voters. "Most absentee or mail-in ballots are rejected because required signatures are missing or don't match the one on record, or because the ballot arrives too late." Voting by mail is very easy, but there will always be those who manage to screw it up.
This one: https://www.npr.org/2020/08/22/9046...e-ballots-rejected-in-2020-far-outpacing-2016 So you don't care that over a half million votes were rejected? That would not have been rejected if they voted in person.
It probably can, but there's gonna be people who won't go. There needs to be a balance, but voters are going to do what they think is safe. Lots of mistakes were made by first time voters. Hopefully they've learned from the primaries.
