How many ways can Trump make a fool of himself in one news conference?

The Post writes, "Trump has made three key concessions in the past few weeks on matters he had earlier denied or deflected: American companies pay the tariffs on the goods they import; those costs can be passed on to consumers; and those increased costs can lead to an economic slowdown. [Finally, he tells his base the truth. Everyone else knew the truth.]

"Trump has tethered his job performance as president to the stock market and regularly criticized his predecessors when stock market performance was poor.

"For months, Trump blamed the Federal Reserve for the slowing of U.S. economic growth and for the volatility in U.S. markets."

“If [the Fed] would have not done the quantitative tightening, our market would have been up another 10,000 points,” Trump said in June.

That was all a lie. Now Trump has admitted it.

 

Mueller's performance at his hearing was pitiful. However, this is far from over. You are being lulled into thinking it is because the House has been in recess for the past month. They get back to work on the 9th, and the House committees investigating Trump will start up again.

As a practical and political matter you will need a doctors professional opinion to proceed if Trump contests this. . I don't even know that I would willing to vote that the President is so incapacitated that he cannot function, without a doctor diagnosing the mental or physical condition that incapacitates, and that he is likely to remain incapacitated. Republicans will be demanding a clinically attributable evidence based diagnosis and prognosis. If you think you are going to get 2/3s of both Houses to make that kind of a determination without a medical opinion, you are out of your mind! Trump will not cooperate with that physical and mental competency examination and he will not authorize the release of its results to Congress.

As I said, unless Trump is in a vegetative state, you won't be getting enough Republican votes without a medical opinion.

I have got good news, and I have got bad news. The good news is the Dow is up over 400 points. We finally have surpassed where we were in January 2018.

The bad news is, the reason for the leap forward is that Chinese officials agreed to resume talks. Meaning, thanks to Trump, Wall Street is dependent upon what China does.

That makes perfect sense. It is hard to understand how anyone in the White House would doctor a NWS map depicting a Cat 5 hurricane barreling into our coast that is to be viewed by the President. Under the current circumstances, only Trump would do that.

 

And what is so pathetic is that he just makes it worse by showing old maps. Why the buffoon couldn’t just say he made a mistake and go on. I can’t believe that his base would be that dumb to believe him

We longer can believe anything he says. So, the first question is, was there ever going to be a meeting on Sunday at Camp David involving the President, Taliban leaders, and the Afghan President? To be frank, I don't know, no one does. Americans can't trust what Trump says.

After the Taliban leaders refused Trump's invitation, the Afghan President also withdrew from the meeting.

Was there ever a Sunday meeting at Camp David scheduled? Many have their doubts.

The meeting and the issues surrounding it were secret, classified, probably Top Secret. If Trump was telling the truth, he divulged classified information. Once again he had to make a sensation, this time at the cost of revealing classified information. That is typical Trump.
