    which ones?
Sanders had nothing when he went in. He got rich off his position.
Sorry, wrong term. What I want to know is, why do we continue borrowing if we are handling tax revenue efficiently?

A government that gives the people everything they want has to take everything they have plus that which they imagine they have.

How do the wealthy you want taxed at that high rate make their money every year?

By extremely hard work, or by taking high risks.

You are missing my point. Tell me, please. How do the stocks and hotels and so forth they own make money? Stocks make money when the business they back makes money right? Do those businesses sell products and services? Who pays for those?

How do the hotels make money? People stay there? Who stays at them?

If they own a shoe sales company, who buys their shoes? Doesn't that money end up going up the ladder to finally increase their wealth?

What I am saying is this. You tax the wealthy and you tax yourself. Right?

Of course. The common worker pays all taxes and pays all business costs, and the common worker always will pay for everything. That's how it is, except for political rhetoric bullshet.

Don't you feel that we all should be working for the betterment of all mankind?

That being said, businesses originally started providing health benefits to prevent unionization of their business since most union contracts required a medical benefits package. If businesses eliminated medical benefits the monies saved would go in most cases directly into the pockets of the executives and shareholders with little being devoted to making products. Socializing medicine in this country would remove the so-called "burden" off of businesses.

Finance (banking, stock traders, etc) is the big one with the most people that will be impacted.

All of them. There is zero benefit to society by someone hoarding billions in offshore accounts.

And that does not negate that he now holds several jobs. An author and property investor.

Because taxes are not where they should be, we do not use the bargaining power of the government effectively (ie healthcare) and we spend way to much on the military and other programs that should be consolidated.

income tax, sales tax, state, municipal, payroll, and of course the unseen tax of inflation of the money supply, and of course the national debt.

I'm guessing they'll take it all as soon as they can. It's what communists do.

I don't want socialized medicine. I want the government to provide payment to private providers for basic life sustaining care. I don't mean cosmetic care such as plastic surgury, Cosmetic dentistry etc, The government to pay for semi-private rooms in hospitals, private is an upgrade paid by the citizen or supplemental insurance. For things like eye care, 100 bucks for a pair of glasses, yu want 300 dollar glasses fine you pay the balance.

Now as far as businesses not paying for the social benefits and keeping it for thier shareholders, that is what I want. The shareholders are taxed at 33% on thier dividends.

We are supporting you with your SS payments. A simple thank you would suffice.

You are still getting your SS by your own admission. Nobody stole money from you. Chances are you would be receiving more benefit than you have put into it!

    Sanders is a loser.

He spent the first 40 years of his life being a failure. He was a lazy socialist activist. He couldn't hold down a job, and lived in a shanty.

He didn't have anything published... so he was an unsuccessful "writer".

Only after he got into politics did he see wealth, and clearly democratic socialism is quite lucrative as he bought his third house all while espousing his collectivist nonsense as the lazy socialists lap it up... failing to realize he is exactly what they oppose.

    It's almost impossible to believe.

Are you ok with most getting more than they put in? Wasn’t that one of the points Greta Thunberg made, about continually trying to game the system by growing the economy?

Better read up on how the SS Trust Fund Works. Every year money is taken (stolen and put in the general fund) and replaced with "special securities" that are not real securities because they can only be sold to the Government. The Special Securities are backed by public debt. If a real pension fund operated like this wouldn't the Trustees be put in jail?

Amazing that a man kicked out of a hippy commune for not working would be considered Presidential material.

What country(ies) do you believe they would flee to?

Most places have a higher tax rate than we do

Many Hollywoodites say they're going to Canada, but most don't specify their new digs.

I just wish they would motate out.

    So no specifics... ok
So much rhetoric (not from you, just in general) to never have any actual argument

I am only getting part of the money I have paid in for more than 60 years. If invested as it should have been, by now I would have over a MILLION DOLLARS coming. But then Johnson a democrat raided the SS Trust Fund.

That is a series of lies. You ought not to make comments about something you clearly know nothing about. Furthermore, your inclusion of words such as "socialist" - "government" - "left wingers" - and - "b'crats" proves that you do not understand their meaning in the least. It is wrong to present any of them in false context yet that is exactly what you have done.

That you don't invest your own money is your damn problem. The money you've put in SS is minor. Why don't you go bitch at Trump or bloating the deficit on military spending, his damn wall (that he promised Mexico would pay for) and the damn tax cut for the corporate welfare queens that we will end up paying for with our tax money?? You hate "socialism" except when YOUR side is doing the stealing.

Sorry but I didn’t say they would. I said they could. And I doubt either of us is an expert on other countries tax structures.
