Nope not in the slightest, or can you explain why a person has never been charged or convicted for causing a miscarriage (or murder of the unborn) when the woman has testified that she gave her consent? Consent is the first of all rights, it is the only right that can, and does, over rule the right to life of another person, if it didn't there would be no self-defence laws and all killings would be illegal.
no double standard at all .. what part of you cannot do something to someone else without their consent do you not understand. If you consent to me punching you .. there is no criminal act. If I punch you without consent .. there is a criminal act. The whole bone of contention of this fact is when assisted suicide is the issue, which in my opinion should not be a criminal offense especially if the person who wishes to die makes their consent known to legal bodies.
