A hundred and years and half of day have passed since February Revolution and emperror Nicolas II abdication.

More than seventy years have passed since the end of second World War.

More than a twenty five years, a quarter of century, have passed since dissolution of the Soviet Union.

I assume, time has came to start looking at history in a new manner, with no passion but with reason, and - if needed - learn it anew.
I do not offer this thread to be discussion of history, but rather want to know opinions of other people on that matter.

Do you think history of Russia should be studied without influence of politics at views of individual? Should people trust sources recognized by various governments, or create a pool of new sources, common for the globe? Should history of Russia be studied separately from neighbours, or along with history of whole East Europe, and at later stages of it's history - along with history of Asia?

    What do you think?
