2 mindless positions are 1) that China would stop trading with the US - roughly 20% of the world economy 2) that the US would stop trading with China - roughly 20% of the world economy.

 

I'm a globalist because I think trade between the USA and China is mutually beneficial?

Commercial freedom and free trade are traditional American values.

 

Trade between China and the Us has been "mutually one sided", plus they steal our technology. Yes, you are one of the globalists that looks to make China "equal " with the U.S. Then they can surpass us as planned. You seem like you'd dance to their tune. No need to end free trade. You'll still have the rest of the world to trade with.
