for an accredited liar...dems must really want to rule over the rest of us...........she's a damned liar. Shpports bringing in more diseased children, just like She also claims the reason coal is shut down is because Mitch caused it. Screw that, Obama is responsible. She supports Obama's push for turning 21 million illegals into good citizens. fast tracking......just to maintain the lordly rule over all of us. Now she favors allowing more sick kids into this country because it's the right thing to do. Can we say interovirus? Bull(*)(*)(*)(*)!!! they are dredging votes. She has actually claimed she will help in getting the laws changed allowing Obie in office for as long as she can. He wants to change term limits for the pres.....
Only a socialist would want that...imagine how much damage he can do as an elected tyrant, eh?
Don't tell me what I see every time I turn on the TV what I'm NOT seeing or hearing.
If y'all want to live like socialists, why in the hell don't you move to Australia?

Hey, if you find it more appealing to look at McTurtle for another 6 years rather than Grimes, more power to ya!

Why do you want more of a do nothing Senate? What do you think retaining a Democrat Senate will gain you?

while you fund the ruling class, hoping that they will force others to do your bidding, the more conservative segment of the population is using their money to do something constructive. instead of turning the state into one massive money grabbing machine, we prefer to donate our money and effort to the causes that these political animals only give lip service to supporting. go ahead and throw your money down the rabbit hole of statist expansion. we'll keep on using ours to fund the private sector charities and businesses that really keep society running.

A Dem Senate means we won't have 2 years of impeachment hearings or one WH subpoena after the next.

Do you REALLY think anything will get done without a veto-proof majority?

    Alrighty then!

With respect, you guys don't need to give money to your candidates. Adelson, Rove and the Koch Brothers will handle that end.

silly rabbit, don't you think there are enough big money donors on the democrat side of the aisle to equal or even surpass the donations from your favorite "righties you love to hate"? while donors like the koch brothers are building hospitals and giving to a thousand other charities as they donate their own money to the republican party, the labor unions, both public and private sector, are simply stealing from their members and making the taxpayer pay for their candidates. you whine about the influence businesses supposedly buy with their political contributions, but never bat an eye when the whims of labor are shoved down our throats by the violent force of the state they have purchased with their ill-gotten booty. your paltry pennies are dwarfed by the contributions of democrat cronies and special interest groups. even your voice at the ballot box is made insignificant by the corruption inherent in the massive bureaucracy you support. i feel sorry for the dupes who work for their money and then toss it away on liberal lies and left wing fantasies.

i support the people by both action and example. we do not need an overreaching state or a bureaucracy intent on subjugating the power of the individual and we certainly don't need to fund an ideology that only leads to a further degradation of the individual's supremacy.

You're an articulate poster, but missing the point on a couple of levels. Sure we have a few deep pocket donors but rely primarily on SMALL individual donors as opposed to dark money and deep pockets.

    Look at Obama vs Romney:

Obama was out-raised despite having over 250,000 more donors than Romney. And while Obama got $30 million out of over 11,000 people donating more than $250, Romney got almost $65 million from over 22,000 people donating more than $250. That’s twice as much money from twice as many deep pockets.

Where do you think we would have been in 2012 without those small, individual donors?

If you guessed in the dumpster ... you win!

As for your contention that the Koch boys care about something other than the Koch boys, OmG and mmm-k ... to each their own. ;)

That's ALMOST funny. The Dems get PLENTY of big donations from Hollywood, environmentalists, PACs, etc and a LOT of the same evil corporations who donate to the GOP as well. The only difference? You agree with that agenda, so it doesn't bother you as much.

Grimes lost, Braley lost, Nunn lost, Hagan lost and Shaheen is one of the few to hang on. However, the Democrats lost the Senate.

Now, like Obama said of the Republicans......"They Can Come For The Ride, But They Have To Sit In Back of the Bus".

There should be some fascinating victory celebration images floating through the internet today of jubilant Right of Center folk versus gloomy-Gus Left of Center folk from politicians to known political operatives and pundits to just average people. Perhaps there should be a special thread started in the Humor section just for that . . .

It is indeed as for the first time in six years I actually suspect that there is a meaningful possibility for a sane engagement of "Hope and Change!" Though for some odd reason our Dem Party adherents don't seem to be all that happy or hopeful . . .

I think you will find that money had little to do with it. I heard one discussion of one race where the Democrat spend 3 time what the Republican spent and still lost. The fact is votes are what win elections not money.
