We were almost the only nation left standing. At least that could do something.

It's not about the world's approval, it's the fact that everyone here screams that we're the greatest nation on the face of the Earth, yet there's tons of things that prove otherwise. Yeah, we're working towards becoming the best, as stated in the Constitution, yet we still have the same problems over and over again and create new problems, too. Hell, even back when the U.S. was formed it still wasn't that great.

Wow ... thanks for sharing that. I do not go on facebook but perhaps a couple of times a year and so I was not aware how hardcore the censorship was. This is disgusting.

We can thank the Establishment for these companies engaging in the censorship that they do. These major internet corporations have become state propaganda mouthpieces.

The idea that Russia is a threat to our democracy is laughable in the face of the massive Establishment control over media. This is the real threat to democratic principles, electoral process and the security of the individual.

Increased border security is something everyone can agree on to one extent or another. The wall being an extent not everyone agrees on.

Increased vetting is not something anyone can reasonably object to, unless its designed with racial/religious prejudicial intent.

REvisiting criteria for chain migration is also a reasonable request, unless its killing the program completely.

Greater enforcement and deportment of illegals? Great as long as it doesn't become a fascist roundup, who can reasonably object.

The problem is not with wanting immigration reform and better border security. The problem is in the intent, shape and extent these reforms.

Getting called racist for wanting immigration reform is stupid. Everyone wants immigration reform in one form or fashion.

Seems you can't get over superficial interpretations of a complex issue and the the mechanism that require changes to achieve more effective immigration control and border security.
