I think all of us can agree that Trump could put the illegals in tent cities like he said he would and not bus them into the hinterland. He could, but he won't.

 

Dispersing them makes it more difficult and costly to round them up. It disperses the illegal voting. And paves the way for a one party system domination of the US. This is bad juju, not an act of God.

 

Agreed. But real conservatives need to wake up and start complaining. Trump lets illegals swarm into the country in record numbers and spends money like a drunken sailor. Sure he gives a great State of the Union address. His rallies are like a rock concert. I know from personal observation. But he is a failure as a President. Our downfall as a country will be that we value entertainment, slickness, and soundbites over substance and actual results.

Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't Trumps 2020 budget plan call for record 4.75 Trillion spending? Saying for some small amount of time we had a budget surplus (I will take your work for it we did) is disingenuous given the 22 Trillion debt.

 

Sad to say the answer is nobody. The Republicans will do nothing on real conservative issues because Republican voters don't hold the people they vote for accountable for actually getting results. Notice how the Republicans have failed to bring the conceal carry reciprocity and hearing protection act to the floor for a vote. Voting for the lessor of two evils just delays the collapse of our country. Republicans need to primary Trump. But they won't.

 

Excessive budget spending is probably the worst thing Trump has done.
But Democrats don't really have the moral high ground to be able to complain about that (though they don't care, they do it anyway, any ammunition they can use against him, even if it contradicts the Democrat ideology).

 

Historians will say Ross Perot should have been elected when he ran against Bush and Clinton. That would have broken the two party false dichotomy.

The 'one toe' policy is if the illegal has just one toe on US soild they can shout ASYLUM and we must allow them in and an asylum hearing years later while they disappear into the country. I would hope all of us agree we cannot handle 100,000+ new immigrants coming in every month and having to be housed, and fed and clothed and given medical care, we can't put up "tent cities" that quickly and those "tent cities" would quickly start to look like concentration camps.
