I think that time has elapsed. The time has come to shut down the border, without further hesitation.

Yes but Democrats are going to try and stop it.

Give the people who vote Democrat reasons to not support illegal immigration, and you can get much more done.

If they're not, they should be. And if the left were smart, they would be too.

Waiting for the Democrats to think reasonably would take a long time, don't you think? And how many more illegals would flood the country during that time? It's time to act.

You said yourself that Trump failed to act. So why, then, are you blaming the employers and judges, the ACLU and liberals for this mess? He promised much but delivered nothing. And now everyone BUT Trump is taking the heat and the blame. He's the one in charge - he was fully in charge for his first two years - why didn't he do what he promised?

Not really. Leftists are always the first to freak out as soon as their delicate ecosystems are intruded on.

Look how much they freaked out when Trump just SUGGESTED sending sanctuary cities more sanctuary seekers.

    Oh I dunno.

Maybe it has something to do with Congress being responsible for immigration law or something like that.

I think it's unreasonable to think that House Democrats will act responsibly on immigration. It just isn't going to happen. Last time I checked, they were still reading the Mueller report aloud on C-SPAN.

The President has the authority to close the southern border. He needs to do so. Then he will have the leverage to force the Dems into action. He would be able to say "Pass the needed border security laws or the border stays closed."

It is exactly what they whine about with illegals.
But now, it's ok, for the god of tRUMP is now ok with turning them loose in America.

Remember how the debt was so so so bad? Not a peep today and it's going ever higher.

More pushing the blame on those with little power.
tRUMP himself was going to close down the border, tRUMP himself decided against it.

    The D's did nothing.
When will tRUMPers take responsibility for their inactions? Always pointing fingers and blaming everyone and everything else.
For 2 yrs, R's had the whole ship. And did nothing.

And the Republican Congress in his first two years? Weren't they responsible for immigration law, or something like that?

Oh there are plenty of RINO's putting citizens of other countries ahead of their own, for sure.

So you're saying the Republican Congress for 2017 and 2018 were RINOs? Is that the excuse du jour?

An excuse? Is what happened an excuse, or is it just what happened?

So, Trump couldn't get anything accomplished on immigration in his first two years - while he had a republican congress - because that congress was filled with RINOs?
Be honest - if the shoe were on the Dem foot, you wouldn't see that as an excuse?

Too late, California's already spilling population out.

Over half a million every year. Especially the younger generation who can't afford to live there.

Did I mention nearly half the younger generation are children of illegal immigrants?

You mean saying those countries are not sending their best? Well, that’s a fact as only about 20% have high school educations, about 25% are sick or bringing in deseases we eradicate long ago and you can talk to the angel moms about their best.

Trying to figure out how stating a few facts is an excuse. Somebody remarked that an illegal worked at one of the Trump Organization golf clubs. I remarked that she obtained employment by the use of fraudulent documents (she admitted this in an interview btw). Both of these things are facts so I'm wondering what your deal is.

Side note I noticed a lot of similarly flippant replies from you in my inbox this evening. This is the only one I'm responding to. Might be the only one I ever respond to seeing as how the inbox also contained a lot of replies from other people that weren't just a waste of time to read. Just saying.

I don't care if you reply since all you're going to do is make excuse after excuse for King Louie.

Republicans controlled congress for 2 years of trips presidency. Why did they do absolutely nothing about this “crisis”?
