As we've seen in a number of recent presidents, though, it's amazing what an Executive Order can do. Sure, these can be 'undone' later, but I'll bet that if Dizzy Lizzie (or some other Democrat biggie) came out and promised to give Social Security recipients a big, long-OVERDUE increase in benefit payout, she would win next November! Honestly, it would inevitable given the sheer TONNAGE of the Baby Boomer vote!

Who says that Medicare charges/increases can't be 'de-coupled' from Social Security benefits, anyway? Would a Democrat House AND Democrat Senate be able to 'fix' that? Could a President Lizzie sign legislation making that happen? IN A HEARTBEAT.... There lies the path to victory for Democrats... if any of those morons are smart enough to figure it out instead of obsessing on ways to give ILLEGAL ALIENS free healthcare and other welfare....

They can't raise MC premium and reduce your benefit so they give a little raise to pay that premium. It's chickenshit but there you are. We are long overdue for a substantial raise that doesn't get eaten up though. You say Warren is promising one? Hmmmmm!

If Bloomberg became VP, it would be a rational decision to try to cancel any life insurance policies on the president. Bloomberg has a massive personal police/security force and billions of dollars to toss their way.

Dizzy Lizzy was staking out a big position on an increase for Social Security recipients in mid-September, but since then she's just sort of dropped it. Here's a link, and there are several others: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/12/us/politics/elizabeth-warren-social-security.html

Anyway, it becomes more and more clear (at least to me) that Bloomberg's in this thing now to be THE nominee. Maybe she can tag along as "The First Female Vice-President" or something. I guess there's still a lot of politically-correct, "diversity" juice in that -- especially because Mikey is (Ugh! Barf!), another old, White guy....).

Another Kennedy scenario? perhaps for even though he did amassed $52 B as his own worth, politically he is really not that strong, but I`m still skeptical these kind of speculation is only feasible for third world countries.

if (IF) ol chillary does infact become someone's vp (something i've suspected & remarked many times before) then that will be a sure sign that the 'prez' will resign shortly after being sworn in, leaving chillie as the prez...

by resign i meant suicide ...

Right. No one is stupid enough to select Hillary as their running mate.

Imagine the headlines and press story: "President Biden suffers stroke overnight the day after inauguration. He was found in the bathroom with a crushed skull from apparently falling during the fatal stroke. Secret Service agents who heard nothing unusual, had checked on him before he retired for bed, and were napping outside the bedroom door, assuming all was well for the night. The coroner is expected to report "Natural Causes" as the reason for the president's death. Hillary Clinton will be sworn into office next month."

I think he would pick Kirsten Gillibrand. But I doubt he will be the candidate, so it's most likely a moot point.

Harris makes the most sense as far as checking off the boxes of identity politics.

My personal fave would be Amy Klobuchar.

Dan Quayle was asked in a debate what he would do were Bush to be hospitalized. He replied, and was roundly reprimanded for answering, "pray". It is the duty of the VP to be someone that can continue to govern as if s/he were the POTUS themselves. We elect a President for the way that President would govern. No way am I believing AOC would continue to govern as Biden would. If/when Biden dies in office, AOC would radically change the way our government ran.

    1. Who ever reprimanded Dan For that answer is a no nothing bastard. It's an exceptional answer.

    2. Her inability and the widespread knowledge of it is why i want Biden to choose her.

On recollection, it would have been the likes of George Will and Charles Krauthammer. Maybe Pat Buchanan and Peggy Noonan.

It's interesting that she's actually opposing impeachment. She could be the girl who appeals to the centre.

He would do what he is told. He doesn't want to involuntarily commit suicide. He knows who is in charge of the party.

You don't think he'd die a mysterious death, should Hillary be his VP?
