This could have included providing the ideological/political justification for the massacres of the late eighties.

Very disturbing report about Ilhan Omars father.

Apparently he was a Marxist revolutionary in Somalia, and committed war crimes.

He also lied about this to get into the country (its illegal to enter if a communist or war criminal)

There are already reports that Ilhan Omar lied committed immigration fraud when she married her brother.

I think this needs to be investigated.

This is outrageous, something that really irks me is how criminals such as Nur Omar Mohamed, brutalise his own people, then steal them blind and retire comfortably in the west while ordinary Somalian's suffer.

There are two issues the west need to put a STOP to immediately

1. Provide Safe harbour for brutal dictators and their generals who have emptied out state coffers in their own countries
2. Confiscate this money and put it in trust until it can be given back to the countries it was stolen from. Billions and Billions of public funds are hidden away in the US and Tax Havens around the world.

It is shameful that one of the beneficiaries of such a heinous crime can sit in America's congress.

The Strib reporters attempt to soft peddle Omar’s situation, but do admit “Omar declined to make her tax and immigration records available for this report.”
