Republicans would be smart to address real issues instead of the ignorant musings of Omar and Ocasio-Cortez. They aren't the Democratic Party any more than Steve King is the Republican Party.

"Someone"(pushes hand away dismissively) "did something". Now, if any of us said that, with that dismissive body gesture there'd be an uproar. Why do we have to 'protect' Omar for her inappropriate comments? In protecting her, we are indeed standing for someone disrespecting the victims of 9/11.

Because it was more than "something"(forget the someone, the something is far more offensive.) It was one of the most tragic days in American, let alone human history.

Pelosi is right, it should be spoken with reverence. The irony that's lost on her, is that Omar did not speak it with reverence. She spoke it with dismissal.
