This is good news for the middle and lower class of the USA, although I would expect the EPA bureaucrats and the Chinese to disagree. To me this says more and better jobs and lower energy costs...good time good times indeed

In his 2012 book, “The Greatest Hoax: How the Global Warming Conspiracy Threatens Your Future,” Inhofe describes himself as a lonely crusader against an environmental-liberal conspiracy. “First I stood alone in saying that anthropogenic [man-made] catastrophic global warming is a hoax,” he wrote.

Shortly after becoming chairman of the committee in 2003, Inhofe took issue with the theory that increasing carbon dioxide emissions causes catastrophic disasters. “Actually,” he said, “global warming can be beneficial to mankind,” leading to improvements in the environment and the economy.

The book lays out his belief that the EPA needed to be constrained. Its regulations, he wrote, have long threatened the U.S. economy, a situation that has only grown more severe in recent years, as the Obama administration and its allies on the left perpetuate the myth of man-made climate change — and propose an executive branch initiative to address the problem.

Ah, what a wonderful job by the GOP.

The man who eschews data and science will lead up a committee that involves data and science.

I am impressed. The GOP has sprung forth from it's intellectual loins a committee chairman that rejects facts in favor of poorly written conspiracy theory.

In case you have not noticed the only ones who believe in AGW these days are the ones who want to make a lot of money off it and raise the cost of energy in the western world it seems. People like Harry Reid whose sons law firms was going to make millions from a Chinese solar far company for example

U.S. Senator Harry Reid recognized nine years ago that connections between his official duties and the lobbying activities of his relatives could lead to ethical questions.

In 2003, the Nevada Democrat publicly banned relatives from lobbying him or his staff after newspaper reports showed that Nevada industries and institutions routinely turned to Reid's sons or son-in-law for representation.

Now, questions surrounding family ties are flaring again in Nevada around the Senate majority leader. He and his oldest son, Rory, are both involved in an effort by a Chinese energy giant, ENN Energy Group, to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel manufacturing plant in the southern Nevada desert.

    Kay Hagan would be another

N.C. Secretary of Energy and Natural Resources John Skvarla on Monday asked his staff to seek more information about a 2010 energy grant from the company co-owned by the husband of Democratic U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan.

Skvarla’s request came in response to a memo from his staff. It involved a $250,644 grant to JDC Manufacturing, which is co-owned by Charles “Chip” Hagan III, and also involves work that Hagan’s son, Tilden, did installing solar panels for JDC under the grant.

The unsigned memo questioned whether the grant involved “self-dealing,” according to DENR spokesman Drew Elliot, who drafted the Oct. 27 document with the department’s legal staff.

    It seems?

Sorry, the man is an idiot who ignores science and reality in order to promote his incorrect world view.

At least we'll be able to appreciate the comedy. Inhofe simply can't help saying jaw-droppingly stupid things.

What's also comic is how so many righties here actually believe their little echo chamber reflects the real world.

what is really going to be comical is watching the EPA begin to burn it's furniture in order to keep warm next winter after it's funding gets cut down to the bare bone :) if you own stock in the solar or wind industry now is the time to start dumping it
