I suppose there might be those who may opinionate that Adolf Hitler is a saint, but I know he's an evil rotten monster--and that's a fact, but yes, the first is opinion. The same could be said of those covering for Trump--he's making America great again. And I suppose that depends on your views of what are American values and how does one make her great again--but Trump is still a backstabbing, pull-peddling, rotten, evil, vile, SOB who is pissing and defecating on the American fabric of truth, justice, and liberty,--and that you can take to bank and cash under "The Truth". Wonder what the Chinese are doing? Winking? Laughing? Back-slapping? Preparing to militarily enter Hong Kong and murder liberty? The future does not bode well for those who refuse to bow before tyrants, dictators, and wannabes. Don't believe me? Ask the Kurds.
Oh then it's okay to profit from corrupt individuals in foreign governments when you're holding office, but not okay to investigate corruption because then it's political. Interesting! DEMOCRATS It's this way, that way, front and back, To cover up our every track and start a-new on our attack of turning white into a black.- Jeannette
Are you suggesting there's no correlation between spending and quality? If you don't increase teacher pay, you're not going to have qualified instruction in computer science, mathematics, the skilled trades, and many of the sciences. Do you think math teachers in short supply are going to take inner city jobs?
I agree. Yet here we are with the RW wanting to go back to the old way of doing things. In order to adapt, change is a requirement.
I guess if you've been happy with the losses in the past you will be okay with the future. I think it's gonna be a biggie. I mean McDonalds only has so many openings. 5G...
The education system has failed. We keep pumping more money and it continues to fail. The money is going to the wrong people. It is certainly not going to teachers. My suggestion would allow parents to direct their share of the education budget directly to teachers and the schools teachers own and manage. “Nearly three decades after A Nation at Risk, the groundbreaking report by the National Commission on Excellence in Education, warned of “a rising tide of mediocrity that threatens our very future as a Nation and a people,” the gains we have made in improving our schools are negligible—even though we have doubled our spending (in inflation-adjusted dollars) on K–12 public education. On America’s latest exams (the National Assessment of Educational Progress), one-third or fewer of eighth-grade students were proficient in math, science, or reading. Our high-school graduation rate continues to hover just shy of 70 percent, according to a 2010 report by the Editorial Projects in Education Research Center, and many of those students who do graduate aren’t prepared for college. ACT, the respected national organization that administers college-admissions tests, recently found that 76 percent of our high-school graduates “were not adequately prepared academically for first-year college courses.” THE ATLANTIC, The Failure of American Schools, Joel Klein,6/112011. http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2011/06/the-failure-of-american-schools/308497/
What do you think will happen if people without insurance show up in the emergency ward? Who pays? Not them. Are you hoping to cut spending on public education? How about Medicaid? Already, 40% of Medicaid goes to indigent seniors for skilled nursing care. I can see why you oppose medical and school vouchers--you don't plan on giving them any money. What are you planning to do with millions of workers displaced by AI? We want to train workers. They may need a university degree, a certificate from a college, or on-the-job training--we should make all of it available as initial training and retraining. Us having a trained workforce. Of course. Yes. You're back to making education expensive and out of reach to everyday folks.
Who says what "TOTAL FAIRNESS" is? The Orange Oaf? Time for Trump to obey the law. Time for Trump supporters to insist he do that.
Oh, you know like automotive, packaging, electronics agriculture, welding. Those kind of things. I think the next big one will be self driving trucks.
There is hope but it's not getting much publicity. https://www.politico.com/tipsheets/...n-reverses-obama-policy-on-dc-vouchers-220150
No ad hom. I have seen him lie outright on TV. He was even caught lying and had the lie put straight to him. Want to see it again?
There is still a demand for many of these jobs and self driving trucks only means more adaptation. I have confidence in ordinary people more than in politicians and the bureaucracy. https://www.forbes.com/sites/kenrap...-disappearing-and-in-hot-demand/#4060c40441b8
You didn't answer my question (see above). Also, we're not spending enough. Their share is a voucher they can use to purchase education for their children. Yes, and what's your point? They didn't recommend we shutter schools.
That's it? Not a great moment for Guiliani but there seems to be more confusion than lies. Rather than this brief clip what's important is whether there was corruption going on with the Bidens and the Ukraine and how the Russian Hoax began. That's the big picture. You can post this every time you call Giuliani a liar and get some credibility.
