Right, my own father who was OUN-Bandera ( not OUN- traitor Melnyk) was first sent to a concentration camp. The Germans picked out a group of OUN member under 21 years old and transferred them from the concentration camp to a forced labor camp. So in a sick way the Germans "saved" my father.

You must know that the Germans offered Bandera a release from the concentration camp if he would go back to Ukraine and advocate for Ukrainians to join the Germans against the Russians. He told them too little too late.
