I see the real problem is that you think you are always right.... in fact... you are unquestionably right...
the real Russian scam was created and was ran with a wink and nod by President Obama and Biden... Hillary created the Russian scam with the knowledge of the most corrupt and lawless administration in our history of an unsuccessful coup on an American citizen and the a duly elected president... Treason would be a understatement... Hillary used a Trump collusion scam to cover up her and Obama's unauthorized unsecure server and activity... If the Russian had "dirt" on Hillary... it would come from her "dirty" server, not the DNC's many servers..
Which brings up an interesting question...
Does anyone know what the "dirt" was that the Russians had on Hillary?.. I have never see or heard anyone actually say what that "dirt" was.

You can't call the Hunter Biden laptop a Russian scam when nobody else is... your boy crack head Hunter and his crime boss Joe Biden are as dirty as they come... please humor us with what you think is being misrepresented on the laptop?

Biden’s New ‘Ministry of Truth’ is exactly what communist countries do. It is what Hitler did.
    Wake up America....

This is where a so-called "progressive" will come along and call you a "bigot" perhaps.

Then go on to tell us that Trump was the real "fascist"

Liberals do not deserve to be called either progressive or liberal.... There's not one damn thing progressive or liberal about their intolerance for political beliefs that do not apply and align with their own

Again, you are off topic. The board that is being set up by the DHS is relating to disinformation, not sedition. They are concerned with whether a story that says that the COVID-19 lockdowns saved lives. Some professors associated with John Hopkins University claimed that the lockdown had no effect. Others have claimed that the lockdown saved more the 3.1 million lives (other studies fall between those marks). So, do you want the government deciding which study you are allowed to reference? Or how about the Southern Border. The MSM is reporting that the numbers of illegals arrested along the border has reached a 20 year high. Yet, the Administration has said repeatedly that the border is secure, and that there is no crisis. Would you have the Government censor that topic?

Disinformation is being peddled by the US Government by both parties. If you allow the same government to force the media to only report that which the Government is peddling, then it is no different than Russia or China. The government should not be deciding what is and is not disinformation.

Could you point out what part of his post was propaganda? I'm guessing probably not since you cut out 99% of it and refused to address any of it.

Your reply isn't propaganda at all. You setup your questions well, and @(original)late refused to answer them, which is your answer.
His refusal to answer is your answer - and I guess the only good thing is that he's too embarrassed to admit that the answer is "yes".
This isn't propaganda at all, this is directly on topic and to the point.

We caught the Grand Patriarch Felony Finger's Disinformation Head in a lie on day one on the job:

    https://twitter.com/JackPosobiec/status/1519472796421832705?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1519472796421832705|twgr^|twcon^s1_&ref_url=https://ace.mu.nu/

So @(original)late, you are great at ignoring questions that reveal autocratic tendencies, what is our recourse when the Minister of Truth lies, or simply refuses to answer questions about why she censored this and not that?

And while she is being pressed, should she continue to have the power to censor news critical of her own performance while allowing praise of her to freely flow?

Do you want to bring back the Sedition Act?

Biden's "Ministry of Truth" is aimed at Hispanics. They believe that if they can control the narrative reaching Hispanics that they can stop and reverse the bleeding of Hispanic support for Democrats.

    DEM MIDTERM WIPEOUT WATCH
    [IMG]
"Today’s doom scroll for Democrats comes courtesy of the NPR/PBS Marist Poll, which provides yet more indicators that Democrats are fast losing Latinos, which, if it comes to pass, is “an extinction level event for the Democrat Party.”

Rather than going full Orwell, what they should do is stop, listen and adjust their policy offering to attract support, but, being Totalitarian, they have no desire to adjust their policy offering to something as 'unimportant' as the will of The Electorate.

"Biden’s job approval rating (the columns are approve/disapprove/no opinion)":

Biden’s economy, "Latinos are more negative than whites (thought it is within the margin of error, so basically a tie)":

"Voting for Democratic (left column) or Republican (right column) in the mid-term election, once again Latinos are slightly more Republican than white voters right now":

"The Republican lead in the “generic ballot” question is the highest ever recorded in the Marist poll."

You might have the job of the "Minister of Truth" confused, thinking it is to protect truth when maybe it is to find truth and kill it. If she really is to ferret out misinformation how will she handle her boss who routinely makes stuff up as he goes along?

This Republic has a massive and fundamental commitment to Free Thought and Expression. The problem that Totalitarians have with this is that given the choice, Americans choose Freedom over Autocracy, so they attak our freedom to choose to reject them.

A Government Disinformation Board? You Don’t say!

"Everything is hunky-dory in the world of Biden and Pelosi, so there’s now an opportunity to deal with less critical matters, like restricting free speech."

"The administration announced its nifty plan to stifle free speech as a distraction from the real issues" and to curate a pro Administration narrative to what they call "communities of color" as they are badly bleeding support due to their policy failures.

"Under Biden and as a result of his misbegotten policies, the price of
    • natural gas is up 192%,
    • diesel 176%,
    • regular gasoline 74%, and
    • foodstuffs 59%.
Supply chain problems are creating shortages of building supplies, fertilizer, food, medicines -- you name it. Massive government giveaways have gotten many people used to the notion that work is unnecessary, and employers are having difficulty staffing up."

"The Disinformation Governance Board, announced this week, is a mysterious creation with no known purpose or need and will be headed by a highly eccentric gal who has a weird history of denouncing as disinformation things that are true while insisting on things that are demonstrably false."

“We have just established a mis- and disinformation governance board in the Department of Homeland Security to more effectively combat this threat, not only to election security but to our homeland security.”

Anything that threatens the Democrat narrative, in their mind, is a mortal threat because we are not only unwashed and ignorant, but we are also irredeemable racists and terrorists. I guess we should be happy that this armed department of censorship isn't shooting us on sight.
And yet, in another song she asks who she has to f..k to become "rich and powerful."

As for her ability to tell fact from disinformation:
    • She claimed there are many non-binary people who give birth. Actually, I think that is “gender disinformation,” not mockery of women officeholders. And calling mothers-to-be ”pregnant people” as she does, is not only false but does more to erase womanhood than criticizing Kamala Harris who deserves, as does every elected officeholder, to be judged on the merits -- or lack of them in, Kamala’s case.
    • Jankowicz claimed the Hunter laptop had an “illicit provenance”:
    • She called the Biden laptop "alleged" and likely a part of a Kremlin influence operation.
    • She accused the 2016 Trump campaign of "voter suppression" against Black voters through "online microtargeting tools."
    • Jankowicz claimed that GOP monitors in polling places was "thuggery."
"Congresswoman Lauren Boebert has authored a bill to shut down this operation. "

"In the same week the administration announced Jankowicz, it picked Dominic Ng, Chairman of the East West Bank, to represent U.S. interests on the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Advisory Council. A big donor to Biden and the DNC, Ng has consistently defended Beijing’s most controversial policies, including its Belt and Road Initiative, which has increased its hold on Third World countries, its take on the origins of COVID, and was critical of two bills backed by the administration to make the U.S. more competitive with China."

"Ng is as perfect a fit to represent our interests in Asia as Jankowicz is to defend free speech -- only if you want to harm our interests in dealing with China or diminish our constitutionally guaranteed right to free speech."

Another reply... Generously using that word.... Of no real substance.... No actual rebuttal to speak of.

I see a pattern developing, when this happens it means you've been asked a series of inconvenient questions that you would rather not answer.

It is kind of fun watching the left spin deflect and attempt to defend this absolute totalitarian move.

This thread is really separating the somewhat moderate Democrats from the absolute far left

It and the pic were spot on. The claim by some on the Left that censorship is necessary to save the republic is repellent.

    Rabbi Michael Barclay's article:
"The Ministry of Truth is in the Department of Homeland Security — the one that has all the guns, ammunition, and bombs, all the spying, surveillance, and espionage capabilities to "watch over" Americans. Biden and his "Stasi" are serious about making it illegal to have a different point of view from the government's. They are making free thought, free speech, and free press illegal."

"Mr. Biden has put himself on the same side as Stalin, Hitler, Castro, and Mao. Communist China is pleased with Biden. All of these dictators had their own Ministry of Truth that did not allow the citizens to think and speak for themselves. Biden and this 'Progressive' regime will now make it illegal, and thus punishable by fees, forfeiture, and prison time, to think and believe and say as Americans wish."

    https://www.americanthinker.com/art...truth_is_where_the_rubber_meets_the_road.html

You are defending the undefendable, and few Democrats are speaking out against this, and that will be noted and they will pay the price, in just 27 weeks. And, two years after that, any structures of control that Dems build will then be turned over to the GOP, though the Deep State demonstrated during Trump their ability to maintain control of these executive agencies until the next Democrat could be sworn in.

The GOP, even when they have the majority do not break the undemocratic power of these agencies, and many wonder if far too many of the GOP are bribed, compromised or blackmailed.

    It's actually worse than that.

These abusive powers of censorship were used by the German State in an attempt to STOP Hitler, it massively backfired, and when Hitler took power, he took control of all of them, expanded them, used them more ruthlessly without hesitation and took complete control of the German Narrative.

    https://reason.com/volokh/2022/04/27/would-censorship-have-stopped-the-rise-of-the-nazis/

In this 1920s cartoon Hitler is depicted as having his mouth sealed with tape that reads "forbidden to speak." The text beneath this image reads, "He alone of two billion people on Earth may not speak in Germany."

And that made Hitler the voice the German People now wanted to hear above all others.

The answer to bad speech is MORE speech, not censorship.

Fake News. The promotion of free thought and speech is the antithesis of this latest attempt by the Left to prevent free thought and censor speech. In fact, it does violence to the term "Liberal Democracy".

You seem basically intelligent and decent, I trust that you will come to your senses.

You are cavorting with nut jobs, like this one:

Time Columnist Denounces Free Speech as a White Man’s “Obsession”

"It has become depressingly common to read unrelenting attacks on free speech in the Washington Post and other newspapers. The anti-free speech movement has been embraced by Democrat leaders, including President Joe Biden, as well as academics who now claim “China was right” on censorship. However, a Time magazine column by national correspondent Charlotte Alter was still shocking in how mainstream anti-free speech views have become. Alter denounces free speech as basically a white man’s “obsession.”"

    https://jonathanturley.org/2022/05/...speech-as-a-white-mans-obsession/#more-188073

You folks will pay a price, and you richly deserve the sound paddling to your backsides that the voters will deliver in 27 weeks.
She does not understand Americans, our core, what motivates us, our dreams and how powerfully we will defend them.

“Why does Musk care so much about this? Why would a guy who has pushed the boundaries of electric-vehicle manufacturing and plumbed the limits of commercial space flight care about who can say what on Twitter?”

Being an ignorant moron, she then fills in the answer with her own biased point of view:
Do you have any sense of how fed up Americans are with this garbage? And its fed to us by nearly every news source, every radio broadcast, every tv show, the commercials within the TV shows, and then of course every mouthy 'progressive' who engages us in conversations and as soon as we don't loudly shout the expected slogans, promptly picks a nasty fight with us, and even if we say very little and just try to disengage will get us called something along the lines of racist, terrorist or some variant of a despicable hick.

And as bad as it is without a southern accent, my friends from the south assure me that the instant the drawl is detected, the estimation of their IQ drops 25 points.

    Fed up.
    Motivated.

"That was the problem. It turns out that all too many Republicans want to maximize their own freedom and minimize their opponents’. Why? For many of the same reasons advanced by the architects of campus speech codes: Some ideas are allegedly too dangerous to be shared.

No, it’s Martin Luther King Jr. in Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community? No state statute should make teachers think twice before including King quotes in a course. In fact, the King quote illustrates that what legislators ignorantly call “CRT” are often the exact arguments that have dominated American race discourse for generations.

I could continue, going through state after state, pulling similar language from dozens of bills and statutes.

Educational gag orders represent only part of the right-wing censorship wave. On Thursday, PEN America issued a report detailing “1,586 instances of individual books being banned, affecting 1,145 unique book titles.”

And if we leave the world of education, red-state legislatures are now passing laws regulating corporate speech. Both Texas and Florida have passed sweeping statutes designed to regulate how social-media companies moderate user content. Both laws have been blocked in court.

Compounding the free-speech challenge, the online right directs immense vitriol at those conservatives who dissent from the culture of censorship. Most notably, social media filled with claims that anyone who disagreed with the scope and wording of H.B. 1557—even if they agreed that young children should not receive instruction on sexuality—was a “groomer.”

The right is now in the process of unlearning liberty. After decades of litigation and legislation, it largely gained what it wanted: a much more free marketplace of ideas. But it is difficult for a commitment to liberty to survive partisan animosity. If you hate or fear your opponents enough, it is hard to resist the siren song of using raw state power to silence their voices."
