Not thousands but millions ... eleven of them in pounds sterling. Just got this mail this very minute. "Attention : Well, I am Michael C. Hill, a Solicitor and the Personal Attorney to Late Mr. Alberto , a national of your country, who was a Petro Chemical Engineer and Consultants contracted with Ireland Petroleum SA. On the 23rd November 2016, my client, His wife and their two Children were involved in the Car-crash years ago. Unfortunately, they all lost their lives in the event of the crash. Since then I have made several inquiries to your Embassy to locate any of my client's extended relatives, this has also proved unsuccessful. After these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to trace his relatives over the Internet to locate any member of his family but to no avail, hence, I contacted you to assist in repatriating the money left behind by my client before they get confiscated or declared unserviceable by the Bank . The Bank has issued me a notice to provide the next of kin or have the account confiscated. Since I have been unsuccessful in Locating the relatives for years, I seek your consent To present you as the next of kin/beneficiary of the deceased so that the proceeds of this account valued at (£ 11,700,000.00) can be paid to you. I will procure all Necessary legal documents that can be used to back up any claim we may make. All I require is your honest cooperation to enable us seeing this Deal through. I guarantee that this will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law; therefore I want you to send your details to my private E-mail {michaelcalebchohill@gmail.com} such as: Full Names.........................? Mailing address...................? Tel/Mobile Number...............? Fax Number........................? Occupation and position.......? Age...................................? Private Email.......................? I await your email response. Best Regards MichaelCho, Solicitor Advocate. 43 Chorley road, Swinton square Manchester M27 4AE United Kingdom Email: ceo@mic-uae.com" Note that he doesn't say what country ("your country") and the great number of grammar and punctuation mistakes from this guy who claims to be a lawyer in the UK! So do you think I should send him the information he's asked for and collect the 11 million £?
Now dey even got a scam... ,,, dat says if ya scratch yer butt... ... an' pick yer nose... ... ya got the Wuhoo flu!
It is very simple. If you do not already know the person or company or charity on the other end of the phone or in the email, junk it or hang up the phone immediately. It's a scam.
