Definitely, people vote in their interests to address Society's issues. I am pointing out that sane men should vote for candidates who support legalizing sex work.
I agree that sex is neither a necessity nor a right. But it greatly improves quality of life for most men. Internet is not a need, yet few people would vote for a candidate who proposes outlawing the Internet.
I am not aware of that because it is false. https://www.nature.com/scitable/knowledge/library/mating-systems-in-sexual-animals-83033427
I don't think so. People who do so are just dominated by their desires, and deeply, they don't differ that much of a rat (I would have said a dog, but dog can be quite nice and faithfull). Incels are just people that can only think with their dick. Being single mean more time for yourself, that you can spend travelling, reading or doing sports. Being single isn't a curse, it's a huge opportunity that unfortunatly most people miss by whining of their own fate. Considering sex-work, I'm absolutly opposed to that on a personnal level, I had long time of loneliness because of my poor health, and I'm quite proud to never fell this low. You never know the history of the individual in front of you, and for me it's just abuse. So on a personnal level, getting the service of a service worker is a big no. On the level of society, I'm more doubtfull, I don't know if it's better to forbid it and let some horrible criminal networks deal with sex work, or legalize it. I would be more that to be legal because I think the worst is sex-work organized by criminal networks. About commitment phobia, it's quite amusing that some women blame men for their fear of commitment, when a marriage on 2 fail, and most of the time it's women that ask the divorce. Men tend to fear a lot abandonment, women tend to fear more loneliness. It's not the same thing. A lot of men saw their father, uncle abandoned, more and more men were educated without any male landmark. So yes, no wonder why men prefer solitude over abandonment.
Yeah, it is the famous "20:80-rule" (which is why everyone has more female relatives than male ones) that was previously regulated by a family-and-marriage-centred culture, but that has now been reintroduced and even further exceed by contemporary, oversrxualisation and normalisation of promisciuity. It is, however, important to note that not every man who "fails to get laid" is an Incel because Incel is a self-identification and very much of a movement rather than an actual social status. Incels tend to blame women for their failures and find comfort on the Internet where they meet likeminded weaklings. But, I think it is also important to note that the family structures of the past helped even the less desireble and most "forever alone" of men to get a partner because family, neighbourhood and community were more involved and engaged with one and other. I do not mean to sound like a broken record or a senseless NPC who just repeats the same point in.post after post but, the sexual revolution has not had very positive effects on Western culture and 'Incels' are just yet another of its children.
I agree with all you say. And yes, a stable marriage (preferably from a young age) is the solution. I also agree that the idea of an incel is absurd. Not getting any is only a problem for people who imagine they have a right to on-tap shaggery. And if you think that, you have some pretty darned kooky ideas about your fellow humans .. not to mention about yourself. If men don't marry, they really shouldn't expect regular sex. Heck, even married they shouldn't expect it on tap and forever ... but at least they have the possibility 'to hand' .. pun intended
I never claimed that sex is a right for anyone -- in the OP or later. I have only mentioned that it is an interest, and any sane man should vote for his interests. Some people disagree with me, but we can agree to disagree.
