Margo when you say Arabs, what you really mean are Semites. Yes the Arabs are Semites as were the Hebrews, Carthagians, and most of the people in the Middle East, but this doesn't mean all the Semites are Arabs. It is a sub group like the Hebrews. Only the ones from Saudi Arabia can be considered Arabs.

To give you an example, we can say all Europeans are Arians like the Iranians, but the Germans, French, Italians, can't go around saying they are the original inhabitants of Persia

Etymologically speaking the word 'Arab' means desert dwellers, without reference to nationality or ethnic descent. This term has been applied to the nomads who dwell mainly in the Arabian Peninsula, the Sinai Peninsula, and the Syro-Arabian desert. It has been used for many years, stretching back to the Aramaean Bedouins of 880 BC who interfered in the affairs of Bet Zamani on the Euphrates River and helped overthrow the local ruler of the Assyrian king Assur Nasipal. It has also been used to describe the ancient twelve tribes of Ishmael who dwelt in the Arabian deserts. (See Finding the Twelve Lost Tribes of Ishmael).

    Snip

    Biblically
Arabs show up in three biblical lists of genealogy:
The descendants of Jaktan (Genesis 10:25-30)
The descendants of Abraham through Keturah (Genesis 10:1-6)
The descendants of Ishmael (Genesis 25:13-18)
(It is possible that some of the descendants of Cush, the son of Ham (Genesis 10:7) are also called Arabs.)

There seems to have been some intermingling between the tribe of Simeon and the Ishmaelites, for the clans of Mibsam and Mishma are associated with both. (Genesis 25:13 and I Chronicles 4:25).

Ishmaelites do not appear among the victims of David's raids into the lands south and east of Israel, even though these enter Arab lands. (I Samuel 27:8 and Genesis 25:18) David's sister married Jether the Ishmaelite (I Chronicles 2:17) and two of David's administrators were Obil the Ishmaelite, and Jaziz the Hagarite, (I Chronicles 27:30).

Hagar and Ishmael were given Arabia (Genesis 21:8-21) and Isaac's descendants were promised the Holy Land. Apparently they were not hostile to each other, for Ishmael and Isaac worked together to bury their father Abraham in the Cave of Macphilah, in Mamre (Genesis 25:9).

My link clearly states that Sheikh Abdul-Aziz Al-Sheikh endorses child rape, no where in my link does it state that he denounced child rape once again you are posting overt lies and propaganda, provide your quote from Sheikh Abdul-Aziz Al-Sheikh in which he "denounces" child marriage, I'll be waiting with baited breath once again.

Are 1.5 billion people claiming that King Richard II was the last prophet of god and the perfect human being to be emulated in all ways?

This episode in Ireland is most similar to the Arab Boycott of Israel in
    the fifties.
It was observed by Eisenhower, Japan, most of Europe except Holland.

    When it comes from a "very Catholic" nation such as Ireland or Poland;
I can only be suspicious of their root motive.

    :clapping: Holland :woot:

    Moi :oldman:

The oil faucet to Europe goes through Holland so the Dutch did not worry about an Oil Embargo for purchasing Israeli oranges.

Provide some (*)(*)(*)(*)ing evidence. An unsubstantiated claim in a newspaper is evidence of absolutely nothing.

In case you hadn't noticed child rape is also widespread in the West. Catholic clergy are particularly adept in the subject. What the hell is your point?

What the hell do you want, an audience with Netanyahu so he can tell you personally? Here's another Israeli newspaper reporting this. With quotes from Netanyahu. Of course he is free to deny saying what he did...

They were controlled by Jordan and it was a recruiting station for fedayeen and a launch pad for attacks against Israel.

That is a classic quote from a Muslim. Did you convert to Islam in the KSA?

As I said, in KSA, a thief can get his or her hands cut off and that is based on Quran 5:38.

Do you support this kind of law? Do you support Quran 5:38?

Does the Quran 5:38 mention the sale of oranges with stickers in Ireland?

My point was: If Islam had some bad points, would you go to a Muslim website to learn about those things?

She was talking about KSA and I asked her about amputation laws there which are derived directly from Quran 5:38.

That verse asks Muslims to cut off the hands and feet of a thief.

Let me know when it gets back the crucial colour of the sticker chat.

    I suggest lilac.

People should be free to boycott who they want. Me, I would boycott the group that did that and support Israeli brands as a show of support.

I wish that settlement products were marked, so I could boycott them and urge others to do the same.

We should get better at marking the anti Semites so we can know to boycott their stores and get them out of business don't you think?

Support of the Israeli state and its claim to land won in combat against repeat enemies.
