    Maybe.. In 20 years I never saw night time temps at freezing in Arabia. Asir is cooler and mountainous.

    Yes, this is a strong general point, too.

    There aren't very many cases in nature where there is only one cycle or other phenomenon to be considered.

    I don't know why? Changes in Earth's orbit? Changes in Earth's axis? Changes in climate? Introduction of humans who in short order can rape Earth?

    This is a really stupid thread .. We could NEVER desalinate enough water to water the world's deserts... and this silly fantasy doesn't include what sort of power would drive desalination. :eyepopping:
