Thankfully children can still have President Obama and Michelle Obama, President Bush and Laura Bush etc. as ideal role models.........

What a terribly simplistic ideology. You are claiming that the most prominent and public members of a society can not be a role model. The ideology is explicitly wrong because children are going to model their behavior and actions after people that they observe, even if they observe them through television, movies, or interviews. And it is internally inconsistent because those "politicians, lawyers, billionaires, and celebrities" are also "teachers, community leaders and religious leaders."

The weakness of your last point is that it presumes my opinion on those individuals as role models simply because I suppose the same political party.

My children didn't model their behavior after politicians, lawyers or celebrities they observed on TV, i taught my children well and they knew from young age who those people truly were behind their shiny surface.
