...partially to blame for the murders of two NYPD police officers?

I don't think it is fair to blame anyone for what happened, except the obviously mentally disturbed man who committed the crimes. And of course, we can blame such a phenomenon as police brutality.
If you want to blame someone, blame the union that set a bad precedent.

It's as much to blame as Sarah Palin's "crosshairs" were to blame for Jarred Laughtner shooting Gabby Giffords.

    Objective or political responsibility?
Because a political leader has always got a certain responsibility [objective] for what happens during a mandate. It's like when a major wants to claim merit about improving economy. It's more complicated than that. On the other hand the objective responsibility for a crime is on the shoulders of the criminal who committed it. We could reason if there was a way to prevent this, but honestly ...

Obama is to blame. He has been appeasing his friends, the Thugs, all along.

Police must continue to shoot Thugs where they pose a clear and present danger.

You can criticize virtually all critique of the establishment with that kind of reasoning, because every movement will have its extremists. Police brutality is a real issue, and racial profiling is a real issue. One violent person does not change that.
