Could this be a move to desensitize the masses so when it happens again, we'll already be used to it.?

This is where the hidden hands win against the people, because the masses are not as keen as they are. the people are surface-dwellers but the insders are deeper thinkers. to you, it's a harmless test, to them, it's a dress rehersal.

and a "Conspiracy Theory" is an oxymoron. they can't exist together. It's one or the other. and this reeks of a Conspiracy to desensitize us to where it's deemed "harmless" just like you're doing now. So when they do it for real, you act accordingly and go down to your nearest FEMA Center for a vaccine or worse an oven.

Until you present anything more than it "not feeling right", there isn't anything to comment on. I see absolutely zero reason to suspect the test is anything more than it is presented to be.

So this is the first test like this done at a national level. All I'm going to say is I'd appreciate if we were given enough information than "this is a test". Yeah obviously it's a test but for what purpose, just to prepare for a future emergency? Is this emergency imminent? Why now, you know?

Sorry, but when responding to conspiracy theory kooks, it's sometimes the only way to get through. If that's not you, I apologise.

It seems perfectly clear to me. I'm not sure what else you'd want to know (unless you were actively looking for the conspiracy trash, which by definition, you'll not find).

 

I can't think of a single scenario in which it would be necessary or even preferable to notify every last possible citizen simultaneously.

The government has zero need to commandeer the nations airwaves. The existing media structure would suffice. To me it's an example of unnecessary government expansion and intrusion.

 

I'm not seeing why so many people feel threatened by it. We already have an emergency alert system that works for some types of broadcasts, why not upgrade so that it works with all broadcasts?

 

The decision to test a complex emergency system? I'd be asking why it hasn't been tested before!

The link I found suggests that they're looking in to updating the system (makes sense given the pace of technological advance) and want to test is as it is now to identify any gaps, flaws or issues to take account of. It all sounds perfectly mundane.

I've still seem nothing to even suspect anything untoward is involved.
