All partisonship asside historicly the Demacratic party has been the most corrupt. The politicol machines from the mid 1800's to the early 1900's were predominatly democratic (with a few exceptions). The republican party was the progressive party of its time. But all parties are sorrupt in some form or another. The real question is does that corruption harm the electorate. If yes it needs to be stamped out, if no then realy we can just turn a blind eye. Poltitics is a dirty buisness.

....as well as the middle class and da poor. On the other hand....Democrats invent taxes for da poor, middle class, and of course the evil rich.

Public Sector Unions.......Gawd bless the Republicans for it.

Republicans deregulate businesses so they can grow.......Democrats oppose such growth....

Virtually every tax that has been laid upon the backs of the Middle Class........from the Payroll Tax to the Gas Tax to the ObamaCare tax.....and every tax between.......

........was created and put there by the Democrat Party.

    Thanks for playing........

The problem with this poll is the assumption that there is only one party of corruption...

Both parties are corrupt but the GOP is much more so. They are pathological liars.

election fraud? ACORN was not election fraud. Funny, when ACORN gets screwed because some guy turns in foney registration that is flagged as invaled its voter fraud. When newts guy does it to the tune of 1500 so he does not make verginia.... its a mistake. Hypocrite.

Republicans have mastered voter suppression, tampering, lobbying etc to get elected. They ran fake Democrats to delay a recall. That's just disingenuous to me. Dems would never do that.

Republicans get caught in sex scandel they get to keep their jobs even though they profess to be the morality police. When dems send dirty photo, he has to resign. No law was broken. Not like buying off a mistress or a hooker.

One case in Nevada where they improperly paid people to register voters? That's the best you could do to point out how terrible ACORN is? And you are wrong. ELECTION fraud is like what Republicans did in Florida and Ohio to rig the election. What happened in NV is Voter REGISTRATION fraud. Meaning no one was disenfranchised, some jack ass just made money off the process and stole money. Like stealing from your employer. These people never voted. However, making it so impossible for people to vote because they have to buy a license by driving 2 house across town because the Republican governor closed all the dmvs in Democratic neighborhood, well that's tamperong with the out come of the election. But I guess that's OK in your Republican world.

If even a single persons legitimate persons vote is negated by a fraudulent vote than we must have voter ID.

Voter id laws disproportionately disenfranchise the poor, exactly how you want it. I would rather have the insignificant occasions where a few people try and get away with something, but first we need to get rid of the electronic voting booths that can't be tracked and have proved to be a mechanism of election fraud. Ohio 2004 and Florida 2001. Exit polls didn't used to be wrong until Republicans started building voting machines. Convenient. Your attempt to get Democrats to stay home is more than obvious.

While I'm thinking about it. Before you Republicans continue to point the finger of corruption at Obama over Solyndra, remember Iraq. Billion dollar no bid contracts to friends and billions disapeared? Never mind the war was started to get them oil profits. the government invests in companies all the time and not all succeed. Get off your bitter rage against a great president who you can't ever believe in because of all the lies and negative crap coming from the right.

That's what you're told and you eat it hook, line, and sinker. So much for leftists being "open-minded". You're as partisan as those whom you criticize so much. Go eat some humble pie, it might do you well.

Business runs the economy, not government. Government can only regulate. This is a capitalist nation...small business can become big business with the right product and plan.

Don't like the GOP but voted no.

I don't see any evidence to prove the GOP is more or less corrupt than Democrats. I just don't like their stance on issues.

Not true, but you know that don't you. Voter ID laws do disenfranchise the dead, foreign nationals, and those who've already votted a few times in one election. Democrats prefer disenfranchizing the military.

Consider, President Clinton, President Obama, Rep. Frank, Rep. Rangel, Rep. Pelosi, Sen. Dodd, and so forth and so on. I don't know how anyone could pick one political party and label them as the party of corruption. As Lord Acton said, "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

One might as well try to name one political party as the party of stupid.

I voted no, although the Republican party certainly has plenty of corruption. But since the whole system is corrupt, to vote yes would be to ignore the corruption of the other half of the Republicrat party. Both are so bad that it's hard to choose which is worse, but there is one easy rule to determine who is the most corrupt at any given time: in the white house, the president's party is more corrupt, and in Congress, the majority party is more corrupt.

The repugnican party is a cesspool of corruption, that is a fact. It is the party of "borrow and spend" militarism and big government. The repugnican party advocates cutting taxes for the ultra rich, wile raising them on the middle class to pay for the wars of profit and tax breaks to the chosen few who can exploit them.

Any party who supports subsidizing exportation of domestic manufacturing through tax write offs is an antiamerican fascist.

Every place you see "repugnican" insert "democant". They work hand in hand , good cop , bad cop. They are both working towards the same goal of an authoritarian, fascist/capitalist government. Read up on German history from 1910-37 to see the blueprint and predict the next moves with great acurracy. Look to China and Mexico to see our future.

So, you think violations of the free market, international law, the constitution and general morality is a good thing the GOP should endorse?

I voted yes, but, that is only half of the story. I contend both parties are corrupt. Very much so.
