Is Trump a Fascist?

I care less what Trump and Biden say rather, what they do and if I had to pick one as more fascist than the other, Biden takes it in a walk (which is why I think they need to edit the name of this thread). Trump never had the institutional power to even act like a Fascist. Biden? He's the politically bukkake soaked whore they wanted so badly that I think they stole the 2020 election for him. And they used Covid to help them do it.

In this modern information age, I want to end mandatory institutional school after the age of 13 (the age of reason) and replace it with OJT, labs, online certification and licensing tests. I think the institutional education system is worse than unproductive: I think it extremely harmful. Ridding us of it is going to be very difficult in the US and Biden's fascism is only going to make that more difficult. That Europe has socialized it? Good luck to them. If we can do it? We will run circles around them in terms of having a strong, free, independent people whose productive capacity per capita will dwarf theirs.

My sympathy and support for JRB is been clearly expressed repeatedly on this forum, at least since his successful extraction of our forces trapped in Kabul.

That's exactly the opposite of correct. When asked in the early 1900s, kids said they wanted to keep their jobs, including in coal mines, rather than get locked up in government institutions.

I stated on this thread that Trump, not just his rhetoric, has always been an "authoritarian", and that this has never been a secret. IOW, I have apparently been far more critical of him than you.

 

I think given a choice between working in the mill to help support the family or be "locked up in government institutions" they would choose their family.

Someone running for president runs on what they are saying they will do in the job and Trump says his political opponents are vermin who will need to be rooted out and locked up. He says he will terminate parts of the Constitution he doesn't like. All that doesn't give you pause? Is that how America should work? You gave me one lame example of Biden's "fascism" that wasn't and you still think Biden is the fascist one.

After Obama the right latched on to a demagoguing con man who won in 2016. So the democratic process was a good thing. In 2020 he lost and the democratic process became a bad thing. To stay in power seems to be the only thing.

Finally, you admit it, but the question remains, do you think that is a good or bad thing?
Judging by ridiculous past statements like Trump is a progressive (that the right votes for?) and you're more critical of Trump than I, I can guess your answer.

But I must admit that you have been very effectively arguing with yourself.

 

Most of are politicians are very authoritarian, but they are not National Socialists/Fascists. Beyond that Biden unlike Trump has historically been a very conservative Democrat. Of course, he is leading the very progressive DP faction at the moment, but even now I doubt that he is nearly as progressive as DJT.

Google: "Genocide Joe" and note that it is not the MAGA folks who are calling Biden the very worst kind of Fascist/Nazi -- the genocidal kind.
