    Oh, they could for instance vote to oppose Trump's removal of santions on that corrupt Russian oligarch's company. Or Mitch could actually hold a vote to reopen the government instead of supporting Trump's hostage taking.

    So your pisition is that everyone in the Trump administration is a criminal. That might be a bit harsh. Surely there must be at least one Trump campaign committee menber or one transition team member that isn't a criminal.

    Still, the house needs to start the process. If going to trial in the senate means the votes of the senate are there for all to see in the next election, great. The next dozen presidential elections should be about Trump and the GOP. In every other democracy in the world, the Conservative party at least supports UHC and AGW and displays empathy for its citizens. Ours is an enigma that’s been warped by unfetted political bribery.
    Start the impeachment proceedings ASAP.

    Why? It will never go anywhere. It requires 2/3 vote by the senate. That means all the democrats and independents plus twenty of the republicans and it is doubtful that all the democrats and independents will go along with it.

    It is a total waste of time and the same thing can be accomplished in the 2020 election.

    If it is successful, we will end up with Pence as president who is even more conservative than Trump and he will pick another VP.
