Well, "believe in me or I hate you" (i.e. Jesus/god's way) is the least tolerant, least loving, least compassionate thing I've almost ever heard. Jesus was a egotistical prick, so he believed that, but decent moral people care about others too much to hate them for simply not believing in a magic unproven zombie in the sky, seriously, dude.
Is there a principle this 'Modern Secular Humanism' of yours prescribes that determines right from wrong? Every ethical system I know of has some core tenant/principle. What is the core principle of your 'Modern Secular Humanism' that "teaches love." Does this mean you love ISIS?
I love ISIS members, and want them to have a better belief system, but obviously I can't endorse their Islamic behavior of following the Islamic texts by crucifying, stoning (say for sex outside marriage - half this forum would quality for that!), or torturing, or beating women (Q4:34), etc. I love them enough to not run interference for their texts - unlike you.
Yes but, is there a principle this 'Modern Secular Humanism' of yours prescribes to determine right from wrong? Every ethical system I know of has some core tenant/principle. What is the core principle of your 'Modern Secular Humanism' that "teaches love"?
