    Not deadset against all national emergencies, just fake ones where the president himself declares he didn't need to do it, and the Congress that was in his party's control for 2 years prior didn't either(or give him the money for his monument).

    Kentucky Senator Rand Paul warned the declaration is likely unconstitutional, Maine Senator Susan Collins said the move would be a “mistake,” and Michigan Representative Justin Amashsaid the president was “attempting to circumvent the constitution” over a “non-emergency.”

    Trump’s action to save the lives of US citizens is Constitutional. What is disgusting is the Democratic Party placing the welfare of US citizens below that of US citizens.
