right....it's none of my business but I find the behavior deplorable and do not believe it needs me to condone it. You, on the other hand want to pretend it is not a condition of choice and that it needs equal consideration with those born of different races. No one is pointing out the behavior they practice in privacy. It is when the flaunt it in the culture I find appalling.

Let me ask you an honest question. I'm pretty sure you watch tv and get to see the national commercials, have you noticed how many of them feature minorities, specifically blacks, with the number of them far exceeding their population ratio? Have you noticed how blacks in commercials typically are the more knowledgeable people with white people portrayed as needing their help? Blacks NEVER look bad on TV, if anyone is going to look like a goofball who needs help tying his shoes it's going to be a white man.

And with the population ratio the way it is, don't you think the number of blacks appearing in commercials is a bit suspicious? The only way such a lopsided thing could happen is if behind the scenes people are saying 'bring me black people.'

Anyway, back to my question; do you think there's a PC culture in commercial making which is sending out subliminal messages that whites are not the equals of blacks?

Back in the 1970's people were scared that Blacks and Hispanics were going to take over and all the white people would be over run. I didn't worry about it then, and I don't worry about it now. Besides, half of the people who call themselves white, are a little brown.

What sane parent would subject their children to displays like this? Being supportive of a cause does not mean you should expose your kids to acts of sexual flaunting.

As a fan of science fiction and fantasy, I've noticed that this recent reaction to fantasy series either set in Europe or based on European myths, seem absurd when of course the characters are white because...the characters are white. There are plenty of mythos from around the world that could be used in TV and moves if there is really a demand for non-white fantasy series, but hey, if you are doing Tolkien, don't be surprised if Middle Earth looks a lot like Europe...or New Zealand.
