Please link to one post where I said anything positive about Trump. You clearly know nothing about me if you think I support that. So, I’ll be here, waiting for the post that convinced you that I love Trump.

Trump is crazier but de Santis is more evil.

Just reading in the Times, "Republican Elites Might Be Done With Trump, but He’s Not Done With Them".

In it Jamelle Bouie makes a coupe poignant points. One, it will take a united effort for the GOP to get rid of tRaitor tRump. And, two, even if they do tRaitor tRump might, likely as not, launch a 3rd party run that would destroy any hope that the GOP candidate might win.

The GOP got in bed with the Devil, and now they are in a real pickle ... aren't they. Hell, it's looking like Liz Cheney won't have to mount a 3rd party run to stop tRaitor tRump, he's going to do it himself. 8)

The young are all about social engineering. The huge majority of them are democrats.

So Floridians, particularly those who came from blue states like evil? You didn't think that idea through very well. You do seem to like to be intolerant of of other peoples' opinions so I can see why you use terms like "evil."

Yes! If you blame ME for the guy being on the narrative, instead of blaming his crimes and his attempts to become a dictator. That is definitely a compliment to him.

I don't want him to go away. I want him to go to prison! And for that to happen we're going to need to keep demanding that he pays for each and every one of his crimes. All of them! Not by blaming those who want to hold him accountable, but by holding HIM accountable.

Yelling "BUT DEMOCRATS" doesn't do any good in a conversation which is about the mistakes GOP is making (its a deflection).

If GOP wants to continue on the authoritarian path, they will probably pay the price in 2024 because younger voters reject it. And yes, GOP is into social engineering, and they do it by getting the government involved in criminalizing topics they don't like. They also threaten private corporations, teachers, schools etc who don't submit to their will. Its surprising anyone would support it, but it seems some people will support their party no matter what.

See what it led to, They can fix it or stay the course and pay the price:

Democrats keep control of U.S. Senate, crush Republican 'red wave' hopes
    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...A143oH4?cvid=7698b4b885e045b5973a5b3d3e09db05
PHOENIX (Reuters) - Democrats held onto control of the U.S. Senate, handing a major victory to President Joe Biden and extinguishing hopes of the "red wave" that Republicans had expected leading into the midterm elections.

Biden - who struggled with low approval ratings ahead of Tuesday's elections, partly due to public frustration over inflation - said the late Saturday outcome made him look forward to the remainder of his term in office.

Maybe this is a chance for someone independent to run. Trump and De Santis will be destroying eachother, and Biden was just a bad pick from the get go. Its a perfect time for something better to step in.

    Obviously.
If you think he’s ever going to prison, you are delusional.

they could take each other down, Trump won't help DeSantis when he wins the Primary

he will claim the Republicans Primary was rigged against him and say he was the real winner

course many States did not have a Primary in 2020, they just gave it to Trump, so he kinda has a point if they do that for DeSantis

Which is why I don't think DeSantis will actually run. GOP will pressure him not to.

I saw a figure that claimed 70% of young people are democrats. Do you have a better number or do you want to deflect?

The authoritarianism seems to come from the left based on what I see and here.

I think the republicans have better policies than democrats but they aren't as good at politics as the democrats. That isn't a compliment. I think the voters did just fine. They restored gridlock, the only defense we have against federal government.

His agenda is now dead. He won't like what he sees going forward. Gridlock will hamstring him. What a relief.

I disagree. Trump is hurting the republican party in a serious way. If I can see it the republican party can see it. They won't help Trump. The man is on his own.

He is, but they created a no win situation for themselves. They can't have him undermine DeSantis if he is the nominee

He will do that whether he runs in the primary or not. It is no win. So what?

    Exactly!
DeSantis has lots of money and will have no problem garnering a huge war chest, he has millionaire backers who have had it with Trump.
He should let Trump continue imploding and his rabid Republican buddies in office will start falling by the wayside.
I doubt DeSantis would even need a year before 2024 elections to hit the presidential trail.
He does have serious issues outside of Florida and I wouldn't be surprised now if he starts leaning a bit left, including not signing the 6 week heartbeat law which he has avoided doing so while running for governor.

I wouldn't be surprised if Trump doesn't run and puts Junior up for the presidential office.

    And the peanut gallery cheered..

Yes, the correct number is 19%

Clearly younger people see differently, because they think GOP is authoritarian for the reasons I already mentioned a number of times.

I am simply telling you why they voted against Republicans, and for whatever reason it bothers you to no end.

They are free to repeat their mistake in 2024, and they probably will since they have fill support of people like yourself.

Younger people voted against Republicans, rather than for Dems. Authoritarianism is unappealing to them.
