It's Paid For With More Taxes On You

Seems Elizabeth Warren wants Medicare for all and it was brought up in Tuesday night's debate. Some of the other candidates asked her if she would raise taxes to cover the cost but Warren refused to answer. Even the moderator tried to get a yes or no from Warren with no luck. Think back when every candidate raised their hand that they were for free healthcare for all illegal aliens. No one wanted to discuss how that was going to be paid for.

I believe she said a few times that she would not sign a bill into law that raised the overall burden on the middle class.

If a national healthcare program costs less in taxes than the middle class pays for in premiums and deductibles then it is a net positive.

I can understand her hesitation in trying to explain it due to the trump campaign spinning it to his low information base. They are already going to lie cheat and steal to try and win — no need to give them video clips to distort.

 

When Democrats say Medicare for all, they mean Medicare for everyone on earth paid for by Americans.

You didn't mention that these taxes will replace healthcare premiums out of pocket.

I'm already getting a 20% out of pocket with my existing insurance. Some insurance is 30% out of pocket and can have deductibles going as high as $6,000. So we replace the premium with the tax. I'd like to see what the tax is going to be compared to the premium.

 

Who pays for most insurance now. Business.
