With Rick Santorum gone, Newt Gingrich throwing in the towel and Ron Paul continuing to run without a prayer of receiving the GOP nomination: Say what you will about Mittens the Ripper, everything Albaugh says about Barack Hussein Carter and his failed presidency is true. This brings up several questions: What color curtains does Ann Romney like? Will the Brits let us grace the White House with Churchill's bust again? Where will Barry move - Hawaii or Illinois?
Your analysis is very, very good. I desperately hope your prediction is correct, or this country as we knew it will soon be gone.
You speakum much truth Big Daryle. The thought of Barack Obama continuing to work on his pledge to fundamentally transform America without the restraint of having to worry about getting re-elected should give every American reason to pause...
Brining up carter is a mistake. Its too far in the past and only appeals to a few. "Its the economy and we're not stupid." Is a great line and it needs to be the drumbeat. #1 It focus the campaign on the economy Obama's weakest point. #2 It reminds people that Clinton succeeded in his first term on his promise to fix the economy Obama failed. #3 It reminds most voters of one of the most prosperous times they have ever known the 90s. #4 It reminds democrats that they should have gone with Hillary. It really is one brilliant sentence since it means so much more so then when Carville invented it for Clinton the first time around because it inherently evokes a nostalgic comparison to Clinton that Obama cant win.
One-liners are great for attracting uninformed and uneducated electors. They are horrible for gathering a core group of intelligent and pure-hearted voters. Those people will either vote third party.
Yeah the ones who swing the election. I'm no idealist when it comes to winning an election. The undecided voter is easily amongst the stupidest people on the face of the earth. Like I said its much better than Carter. Too old. The youngest voters this time around will have been born in 1994. Every voter remembers the prosperity of the 90s and has nostalgia for it. Saying Obama is Carter is a loser. Saying Obama is no Clinton is a winner.
Well, I will be among the youngest voters in this upcoming election. Your suggested campaign strategy for Mitt Romney will not work on the likes of me, nor has any strategy of the President. I have enough knowledge on the issues where I can be highly critical of every candidate. Therefore, I am not voting for anybody on the ballot. Instead, I am writing in my name on the ballot, even if the vote does not count.
I'm guessing he'll be moving back to his birth place in Kenya where he'll feel more at home with the natives.
Mitt Romney voted for Jimmy Carter in 1980....not Reagan. Hell Carter even supports Mitt http://www.realclearpolitics.com/vi...ter_likes_mitt_romney_for_gop_nomination.html This is how far the Republican party has moved to the left. And if Mitt does win....the republican party is no longer a party that represents the right. We need a new party to represent conservitives.
The masses don't want a true conservative in the Whitehouse or they would've voted for Newt or Ron Paul.
We do not need a President who is inept at policy-making. Every single candidate running for the President of the United States is incapable of producing quality economic and foreign legislation, two areas where incredible expertise is needed. All the candidates lack the ability to rationally deal with social issues. Lastly, no expected politician has the conviction to deal with government and electoral reform.
If foreign policy expertise were valued by the voters, GHW Bush would have been re-elected in 1992. Right now, foreign policy takes a back seat to the need for reduction of the US federal government.
Not before he bends over a few Natives Racist and gives them exactly what they need ... a Reality Check ... this ain't 1912 Toto. ... excuse the picture, but it fits that comment, remember it's not important that you like it, just take it like a Man.
