Well, the "72 hours" has come and gone, and no comment from A&E or Cracker Barrel...OR Jacksuuun-ah.

Hilarious if they both just iGNORED the IGNORAMUS.....looks like the Days of Race Based Extortion as Mr. Jacksuuuuun-ah's primary source of income might well be behind us.

He was, as he stated it was a better time than the current "pre-welfare, pre-entitlement" mentality. None of you seem to want to discuss that very important portion of his comment, and it's weird. Don't make it weird.

 

BS. Phil said pre-entitlement, pre-welfare they (blacks) were happy, godly, and they weren't singing the blues. I guess putting up with legalized racism makes them "Godly". What a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)bag. The AA community still has its challenges, but they've made great strides since the end of Jim Crow. They are FAR better off now. Only 20% had a HS school diploma during the Jim Crow era. It's over 86% of men 25-29 have one now. 19% have bachelor's degree. And while they lag behind whites in upward mobility...at least they HAVE some semblance of upward mobility now. That was unheard of before.

 

The frustrating thing is that people refuse to try to see what he was saying.

Being that many if his friends are black and even his grandson (or was it godson) I don't think he wants racist laws or slavery brought back....

He is simply saying he feels welfare has harmed them, yet you want to nitpick and attack in any way you can. You are basically rationalizing your hatred in any way you can.

Luckily the country is starting to find a tipping point with the race baiting It seems.
