In a male gay relationship, where is the mother of any kids they might have?

Yeah, everybody reaps what they sow. If a homosexual put up a sign support same-sex marriage, I would expect conservatives to react in protest. I don't have a problem with conservatives boycotting or protesting businesses owned by homosexuals. We have the right to protest or boycott anything for any reason; that doesn't mean that they will all be successful. We ought to use that right more instead of looking to the government to support.

Yeah yeah, if you're pro traditional marriage you are anti gay.

If you are pro life, you are anti-woman.

If you are pro military or pro gun rights you are anti peace.

If you are pro strong borders you are anti immigrant.

If you don't agree with liberals then you are anti-black. If you don't agree with liberals then you are anti-Muslim. If you don't agree with liberals then you are anti-poor.

What else is new with these infantile morons.

They're not alleged, but thanks for implying I'm a liar. And where is my implied lack of support? My sister doesn't judge her life based on the beliefs of total strangers like the women in this story. My sister isn't offended at every little thing, and when I see her there are jokes going back and forth about our lifestyles. My cousin works for a gay magazine in Palm Springs and I haven't talked to him in probably 10 years. He fits in perfectly with the CA lifestyle in that hes' one of those open and in your face gays. When he visited me when I lived in CA was he supposed to be offended that I was in a traditional marriage and he wasn't? I was in the marriage I believe in and according to the women in this story my beliefs are wrong.

Maybe. However, that does not mean the store owner would get the same price...or that some of the material wouldn't be wasted in an attempt to salvage it. Yes, I sure any gem mine be reusable. The ring setting probably would not be. And what about the labor costs to initially make the rings and to salvage any material??

It sounds like the clients did not pay the whole price, but only paid the deposit, which they want back. That is the purpose of a deposit. To insure payment for the work involved to make the item in the first place.

Everyone has the right to protest, but it's rarely the right that protests, it's almost always the left. Want drill for oil? Protest. Want to remove some trees to make room for a house? Protest. Don't agree with the police? Protest. Don't value the opinion of a pizzeria ower? Protest. I could go on for ever with this.

Well, that's why I said "partial refund". But if they simply lose the deposit, that should be acceptable to both parties.

Even if they paid the whole price, it is a contract. The clients order a product....the owner agree to make the product and provide it. As long as the product was made to the clients specifications, the contract is binding. Even Judge Judy would not say that a 'partial refund' is appropriate as long as the conditions of the contract were met by both parties.

Then you are wrong. The women in this story never said anything about your beliefs or the store owners beliefs being wrong.
They just didn't like it and wanted to end the business relationship.

Tell me how that makes Mother's Day offensive to them. Show me where any gay male couple said that Mother's Day was offensive- ever. Show me, or quit making **** up.

Umm...why would your cousin be offended that you were married to a woman? Why would you even say that? Do you think gay people are out to turn everyone gay or something?

Shall we list the number of American businesses that Christians have protested and boycotted?

I seem to remember Tea Party people filling the squares of Washington.

The wealthy landowners on the Florida Coast were the ones who stopped drilling for oil within certain boundaries.

Contrary to your beliefs, roses do not grow out of the butts of conservatives.

I never said ALL. ALL or NONE are very simple to disprove as simply finding 1 in either direction. Kinda like when you say "conversion therapy has never worked"

    That's kind of a "none"

and here is a guy that proves you wrong

    http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/gay-conver...w-im-happily-married-heterosexual-dad-1443188

So, I'm careful to not argue like you do with 'all or none' scenarios....

Shall we make a list of businesses Christian groups have boycotted ...

    IBM
    Starbucks
    JCPenny
    Nike
    Amazon

My god, even the Muppets ...

Seems you could use a few mirrors in your glass house.

please compare it to the list I have boycotted because a Church told me to....

I love the "well he did it first" strategy of justification. are you looking for fixing injustices, or revenge.... Because with revenge, the pendelum will eventually swing back against the minority...

I didn't agree with the Baptist Church boycotting Disney world, either.

I have plenty of businesses on my list of no-shops...... but none are because I'm following the mob mentallity like you apparently condone... well, you condone as long as it's YOUR mob, not someone else's

Then he must be facetious with every post. How are is anyone to take any of his posts seriously? Facetiousness doesn't come across clearly in print.

Is the female IBM CEO anti-gay? Has she made any anti-gay statement at all? The answer to both is no. So your first premise is false.

Second, IBM is a publicly traded company in which the Board has legal fiduciary responsibilities to its shareholders. The jewelry store is not a publicly traded company, the owner is answerable to himself only.

Third, the jewelry store did nothing wrong. The lesbians were treated respectfully just as every other customer was treated, the jeweler did exactly what the lesbians requested, the lesbians were perfectly satisfied with the product. The lesbians had an issue with the religion of the jeweler, and religion had nothing to do with the contract or product.

I think the facetiousness was clear enough. The problem I see is that too many people here are too serious and enjoy playing the "one-up" game.
