Why the hell would Israel give up such strategic territory? The golan heights provide the perfect terrain to counter any Syrian invasion. It is a natural fortress that allows them to overwatch the plains between Syria and Israel, turning a Syrian invasion into a turkey shoot. Israel would be stupid as **** to give up that land after being invaded multiple times by Syria. **** the standing agreement. Israel needs to protect itself, agreement be damned.

Light unto the world? That sounds like some weird religious ****. I couldn't care less. All I know is they share our western values, and don't use their women and children as human shields. Also they have gained my respect from their victory against overwhelming odds in the past. I have zero respect for palestinians.
