But the Nazi's were at least Westerners.

I was not following Churchill and the RAF pilot in 1920. First I heard of this. I thought you were much younger than this hints at .

Given the damage done to men in combat from oh... say... Artillery rounds exploding, IEDs exploding, land mines exploding and men run over by Armor, I would say that is no better or worse than WMD. Even the H Bomb does a better job at cleaning up the debris of bodies than say explosive artillery does. In other words, the dead forgot they were killed in combat.

Colin Powell told the world he personally investigated the CIA records so one realizes he also told Bush of that finding. But Bush called Saddam a grave and gathering danger. Well hell, so was Assad. I happened to be next to the Vietnam war memorial in DC when a reporter and his TV camera man came to me to see if i thought Bush was right to invade Iraq. I was totally surprised by this TV camera peering at me. It unnerves you I tell you. I guess you get used to it. I doubt I got on the evening news given I kind of rambled a bit. Sure, I support our guys. I do not like war. Had I liked war they would not have had to draft me in 1961. I would have joined the Air Force probably and been a pilot . I actually had went to see the Air Force pitch since I told them my sole choice was as a Pilot. I did not completely fill out the papers so the Army grabbed me by my gonads and I was in the Army.

We're all fundamentally human. I agree that the leftists always underestimate civilization and cultural differences that we have with islamic civilization.

If you read early American history, you would know that Native Americans delighted in torturing their enemies, native and otherwise. They would cut their eyelids off and bury them up to their necks near huge anthills so the ants would begin eating their enemies' eyes.

Another torture was slicing the bottoms of their feet off and then making them walk over a bed of red hot coals.
South American natives too were barbaric, and many of them still are. Take MS-13 for example, or the drug cartels.

A fair trial for a supposed crime is a human right.

Death punishment without trial, no matter the accusation, crime or evidence is a symthom of a very outdated/barbaric society.

I do not forgive those who ordered it(Assad and the power circle) because the country is war ravaged. I do take that in consideration, and the grave crimes of the hanging ones, but it's very disturbing to me.
As all the people in the thread that agree with it just because they are Isis terrorists.

I also wonder why dont they have trials. I imagine its quite easy to have one, lay the verdict and apply the same punishment, impartial trial or not.
