What's the value in calling Trump all the intentionally insulting names you and others call him?

Trump's officially designated name is President Donald Trump. On this board, in this thread, the left is trying to establish that calling anything other than it's officially designated name is wrong, inappropriate and racist. Surely your own standards apply to yourselves, right? (who am I kidding? You're probably laughing at the thought of abiding by your own rules you insist others follow)

Pelosi was handing out impeachment pens when Trump's task force was working on the virus. And when people like Feinstien found out about the virus, did they sound the alarm? Nope, they sold their stock before the public found out about it. Making matters worse, Pelosi held up the funding bill until after Super Tuesday, do you recall that patriotic and life saving deed?

 

Trump played a heck of a lot of golf like he always did. So it seems he had plenty of time to tackle this and than some.

She is a leader in the U.S. and instead of doing what President Trump did, and combat the china corona virus, or anything at all within her power, she said it was racist to do so and then in a failed attempt to fight racism got people together in large crowds and helped spread the virus. So while Trump saved lives with his travel ban, Pelosi cost people their lives by encouraging them to get together in large groups. Pretty horrible of her to do that.

China, yes China, not Asia, not Wuhan, not the Pacific Rim, not the Orient, but China lied and held back life saving into. But let's blame Trump.

How about we just cut to the chase: China lied and withheld information, as well as WHO, and the result is tens of thousands of deaths, businesses shut down, people don't have jobs, hospitals are full, we don't have all the equipment we need, people are being evicted, the dead are being buried in parks, our economy is grinding to a halt and what is the left flipping out over? Political correctness in what we call the virus and country who is responsible for that.

On the other hand, while the left is losing bodily control over a name, the same left hurls tons of insulting names that end with ist or phobe, they protest businesses, get people fired, violently attack people with Trump bumper stickers or hats, and lots of other stuff and the left never cared about any of that.

The left cares about the feelings of the people who did this to us all while they constantly attack people they disagree with as if we have no feelings.

So my question to the left is: During these times of social distancing and wearing PPE, do you guys put masks on both faces?

I think the left would have to give out a lot of lectures and imply a lot of leftists are racists if they went back through this board and looked at which people were calling others Russian assets.

This fake outrage of the “China virus” naming, claiming it could cause violence against Asians is just that...fake. If they genuinely cared about trying to limit the spread of violence in this country they wouldn’t constantly accuse Trump and his supporters of being Nazi’s, racists, Russian puppets, fascists, etc. All of these fake narratives have certainly caused more violence against Trump supporters yet there was not a peep of concern, nor was any of those narratives true.

Contrast that with the accurate nick naming of the china virus and now all the sudden its a cause for violence and no one should say it?

It is genuine hypocrisy, and astounding that people dont have the self awareness to see it in themselves.

I doubt it will last, earlier in the thread one person tried to defend the idea that Trump and his supporters political beliefs are atleast to some degree based in racism, etc. It’s nonsense, but I have no doubt a similar argument will be made again shortly.

 

I have long been expecting a comment along those lines. I'll stop referring to Trump other than as President Trump when he (and others here) cease referring to his political opponents in derogatory terms. The only way to deal with the grub is to get in the gutter with him. The Dems 'when they go low, we go hight' mantra does not work and gives the grub an empty stage from which he can fling his poo.

 

The dems never adhered to that mantra at all, that was nothing but a PR stunt.

The reality is, the right is finally hitting back with Trump. Dems have done nothing for decades but refer to people as racist for even the slightest disagreement on policy, and the media has smeared anyone perceived right of center for just as long. Well now President Trump is a president leading the charge against the do nothing dems and their nonsensical attacks as well as the fake news.

Just as soon as dems realize their strategy isn’t working I am sure eventually they will change. But until then, fighting back is the new norm for those of us right of center.

Donald and his White House knew in January that the virus could kill millions in the US, and they refused to share that knowledge with everybody. Instead of that, Donald was saying all over that he had this hunch that it wouldn't be so bad. Just because Pelosi is a leader, does not mean she had access to that memo. You're just making it up. And Donald "combating" the hoaxus when claiming it won't be so bad while there is a memo in the WH saying millions could die,... is beyond stretching the truth and not to be considered combating the virus.

To endlessly calling it Chinese virus, is indeed racist when that aint the name. The GOP was simply linking an ethnicity to a deadly disease and refusing to use it's official name. The American Chinese community was suffering. Hence we can indeed talk about racism here. Truth hurts.

President Trump combated the virus weeks before democrats even began to take it seriously, and while he was saving many lives by doing so, dems were more concerned with impeaching him. Weeks after he took action, Pelosi completely failed at fighting racism but asking people to get together in large groups to spread the virus. That was pretty horrible of her.

There is nothing wrong at all with calling it the china or Chinese virus, nor is it racist. It is accurate and very appropriate. Nicknaming is always going to be a thing and it is very appropriate. The lefts hypocrisy with nicknaming is astounding however.

Trump was exceptionally happy about the Chinese and how they cooperated at one point. That was when the WH was holding back the info that millions of people could die. That was the time that Donald said he had this hunch that it wouldn't be so bad. Donald only blamed China, after they made public that millions of people could have died and that he was looking at a 100k to 240k victims.

Hence it's Donald who lied and was holding back on that info that could have saved lives.
China is not to blame when it's Donald that refuses to share that data. Duh.
