LOL - Wow history isn't your strong suit:

Representing the fast-growing Western states, Lincoln won the Republican nomination in 1860 and subsequently won the presidency. The party took on the mission of preserving the Union and destroying slavery during the American Civil War and over Reconstruction.

After the Civil War, most white Southerners opposed Radical Reconstruction and the Republican Party's support of black civil and political rights. The Democratic Party identified itself as the "white man's party" and demonized the Republican Party as being "Negro dominated," even though whites were in control.

You should educate yourself on actual history or you will continue to look ignorant about these topics. The Democrats have always been the party of slavery, why do you think they are trying so hard to destroy their past and tear down statues.

Those statues don't lie and as long as Democrats are rightfully pointed out as the party of the KKK and of slavery, progressives will continue to try and run and hide from it, often spreading lies about what happened and engaging in revisionism.

    Butt buddies??? LOL

    Wow, someone is unhinged.

Why do progressives always result to smear, especially when something really good was just signed into law?

In case anyone is interested, here is the landmark deal Trump signed.

    https://www.billboard.com/articles/...igns-music-modernization-act-law-bill-signing

President Trump signed the eagerly anticipated Music Modernization Act into law at a ceremony at the White House on Thursday, in the most high-profile event for the music industry in several years. Mike Love and Kid Rock, two of Trump’s most visible supporters in the music community, were at the White House for the signing alongside Sam Moore of Sam & Dave, country singer John Rich and the Doobie Brothers’ Jeff “Skunk” Baxter.

Intended to update music copyright law for the digital era, H.R. 1551 (formally the “Orrin G. Hatch-Bob Goodlatte Music Modernization Act”) accomplishes three key things: making sure songwriters and artists receive royalties on songs recorded before 1972; allocating royalties for music producers; and updating licensing and royalty rules for streaming services to pay rights-holders in a more streamlined fashion, via a new, independent entity. Under the act, many music creators will have a more reliable way of collecting the money that they’re due.

Let's take a look at how this meeting was discussed on Fox News.

Oh wow. Fox News is civil, unlike CNN or MSNBC with their vile racist name calling.

    How about One American News:

This little media outlet with only a few thousand viewers is better than CNN.

Yes it is. Not only is the OP racist, but the whole argument from liberals is racist. Black voters belong to the democrat party. That's why they are so upset by black people supporting Trump or being conservative in general.

A nice time of coming together.

HERSCHEL WALKER CALLS FOR CNN TO FIRE DON LEMON OVER RACIST KANYE WEST CRITICISM.

Sellers’ remark prompted laughter from Lemon and fellow panelist Tara Setmayer, who followed up by saying West is “the token negro of the Trump administration.”

Walker, who has openly supported Trump, is also an outspoken advocate for mental health issues – which were also mocked during the segment. Walker took to Twitter to express his disbelief.

“Went to bed appalled over Don Lemon’s despicable behavior laughing at Tara Setmayer and Bakari Sellers’ awful remarks about Kanye West’s visit with [Trump]! Woke up wondering why CNN doesn’t take all three off the air?” Walker tweeted, adding the hashtag “#Shameful.”

Well, it’s not like Walker has worked with Trump on a day to day basis – oh, wait:

In this March 8, 1984, file photo, Donald Trump shakes hands with Herschel Walker in New York after agreement on a 4-year contract with the New Jersey Generals USFL football team. The New Jersey Generals have been largely forgotten, but Trump’s ownership of the team was formative in his evolution as a public figure and peerless self-publicist. With money and swagger, he led a shaky and relatively low-budget spring football league, the USFL, into a showdown with the NFL. (AP Photo and Caption.)

I deleted all my comments because I realized how negative I am being over the OP. I try to be positive.

    So true.

Tonight, I sat down and watched Gone with the Wind. (first half, second half perhaps tomorrow or this weekend.

I had heard lefties calling it racist in the past, but you know what-it was far more humanizing than ANYTHING you heard about Kanye today.

    A movie from the 30's.
