It's an interesting distinction. Trump won his presidency the hard way through the electoral college. You could say that's a political process, and would be right.

A legal process would be no different.

 

True but this impeachment is not over legal issues.

Its about politics-we are to infer Trump is somehow guilty-a far lower answer.

LOL The witness had NO first hand knowledge, nor have they met or had any direct conversation with President Trump. Neither would have last five minutes in a true court of law. Yesterday was nothing but a **** show. As for Jordan, he asked very meaningful questions, and proved without any doubt that neither of these witnesses had direct knowledge of any event mentioned. Jordan did a fantastic job. If yesterday was the best the Dem's have to offer in the sham, they are in trouble.

 

I saw a man who had NO direct knowledge of any of the events mentioned and was simply repeating what he "heard" from someone else. In fact, they had never had any direct contact with President Trump, and never even met him. That, is the "truth".

 

These men would not have lasted five minutes in a real court of law. As much of what they had to say would have been hearsay and not admissible in a court of law.

 

This is not a lefty vs rigty dea. It is right vs wrong. There was no testimony yesterday that supported Jordan in any way.
Plus Jordan has proven to he what he looks and acts like......a thug.

 

I am not buying that cover up. That had shades of Sadulski 'Shandusky' case.

The witnesses did indeed support much of what Jordan had to say. They admitted they had NO first hand knowledge of conversations involving President Trump, they admitted they had never met nor had any discussions with President Trump. Jordan fully explained that much of their testimony was indeed hearsay and not admissible in a court of law. I expect Jordan to continue with his viable questioning.

 

Obviously you have a closed mind since you call it a "clown show". The testimony was as the Ambassodor and the State official said.. they stated what they knew and relayed what they were told.

 

Hearsay about hearsay. The dem clown show even tried to tell us that hearsay is better evidence than direct knowledge.

 

I think you'll find out that the Democrats assertions fell apart yesterday. Judging by the crescendo of left wing noise machine I'd say both Jordan and Radcliff hit it out of the park. Again I say, I doubt it will ever make it to the floor of the House for a vote. If it does the articles of impeachment will by design fail. The last thing Pelosi wants is this thing to move to the Senate for trial. Joe and Hunter Biden as well as Chris Heinz and Devon Archer would be subpoenaed, possibly even John Kerry and Barack Obama too. Biden seems confused out on the campaign trail right now, just imagine what he would say being grilled in the Senate where there is no Adam Schiff for Brains to suspend the questioning.

The left thinks the gamesmanship that goes on in Washington DC is big time, it's not. It's bush league compared to what goes on in the big business world where millions of dollars ride on who wins the game. Trump has thrived in that big business world.

 

Flamed and roasted? I think not. Jordan did a good job presenting facts. Neither of the witnesses had any first hand knowledge, nor had they ever met or had a discussion with President Trump. Much of what they said was hearsay and would not admissible in a court of law.

Four meetings where aid tied to investigation never was brought up. However.. Taylor heard Soland speaking to someone else and someone else might have told Soland something of concern that Taylor did not hear directly because someone told him after he heard it that he heard it and Soland can confirm that Taylor told him that someone said to Soland something that Taylor heard.

Top Ukrainian official: Sondland did not link aid to investigation of Bidens

Ukraine's foreign minister told reporters on Thursday that U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland did not link investigations into Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son with military assistance.

"Ambassador Sondland did not tell us, and did not tell me exactly, about the relation between the [military] assistance and the investigations," Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko told reporters, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

"I have never seen a direct link between investigations and security assistance. Yes, investigations were mentioned, you know, in a presidential conversation. But there was no clear connection between these events," Prystaiko added.
