Find three people who interpret that nonsense as anything other than the bitter, impotent mewling of a worthless dope who hates America.
Some Americans are assholes. Just look at you. Anyway, stating a fact about some Americans being assholes is not the same as hating America. One can criticize parts of America and still love America. I know that's a really complex idea, but lots of people are able to comprehend it. So why can't you?
So you still cannot produce any evidence to support your accusation that I hate America. No surprise there. It simply doesn't exist. Let me make this very simple, so that even you can understand it: Highlighting the existence of problems in America is not tantamount to hating the country. In fact, it's just the opposite. It's an attempt to save the country from the corrupt domestic elements and nefarious foreign networks that are doing harm to the country. The only reason why anyone would want to conceal or prettify those problems is because they're somehow benefiting from them. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to learn that you worked for or with the government in some way. Most of the people who hate me here are government employees or contractors who profit from taxpayer largess. They don't like it when I point out the government's extreme wastefulness. But they cannot argue me on the facts, so they resort to infantile name-calling like "America-hater" and such.
So, another illustration is in order, with mccain on the left and obama and clinton on the right. To keep things in perspective. With that said, trump needs to shut the hell up in his attacks on mccain, given he is not here to defend himself. But this is one of trump's great character flaws, and it is embarrassing to me as an american.
His comments on McCain have toned down. His victory vs the left at this stage is noted. America hates a bully and little Adam Schiff is definitely one.
Still, no decent excuse for his stance and words before he toned it down. We will not be healthy again, politically, until each side can call out and reject behavior seen on their own side. Are you capable of that? Just curious.
1. I am one. I am also a voting republican who shall never ... NEVER vote for a Democrat so help me god. I have commented often on the hate we get from the Democrats and since Trump it has got worse. Some of this is a result of those pot holes in your city streets. They anger you and frustrate you. Hope and change fizzled. Obama did not yank us out of a Bush problem. It never was the Bush problem. This is a way to focus anger on a man who did all he possibly could to avert the collapse. Where he had the authority, he used it. He took out FNMA and Freddie who were huge problems. He force fed banks cash. Cash they did not want at all. He force fed the auto industry billions of dollars. And what did Bush get in thanks? He is called a louse for spending his way out of a problem and Democrats scrambled for crumbs trying to locate things Obama had down well. They fail even to this day. But let's not jump Ethereal over calling out problems in this country. I find evidence he does not like politicians, but not that he hates his country.
I do not find it useful to beat the dead horse. Trump often does things in a style i do not like. But I am not interested in style but in results. Can this country stop long enough to note the vast improvements due to his guidance? McCain has a huge chance to support Trump and he gave Trump the bird. Still Trump owes all of us the skill to speak and not try to beat up further on a dead man. I am one who resents how America treated our war veterans of the war in Vietnam. America has yet to apologize to all vets over that war.
Well, the calling out and rejection needs to take place when it happens, and all too often, each side will dismiss such behavior, coming from their own leaders, with some even defending what is indefensible. And so, I believe we will be in much better mental shape, as well as better character when each side will call out and reject the bad behavior coming from their own side, instead of only noticing the bad behavior coming from the other tribe. Other than that, I will not disagree with what trump has done, or tried to do, in that some of those moves have been in the best interest of this nation and her average citizens. Indeed I agree with some of where trump stands, as any reasonable non partisan person in the intelligent middle would. I just wish trump had a more amiable personality, one that is more cultured. But my feelings about his personality does not stop me from acknowledging his positive work in some areas. Things that no one else was concerned with, but also things that are very important and relevant.
I have called out Trump over particular behavior patterns. For all the good it does. I also however get his daily mailings. Those are very presidential. I applaud his writers. But they write on his behalf. Check this site. https://www.whitehouse.gov/westwingreads/
You're the one who claimed I hate America, therefore the onus falls on you to demonstrate that claim. So far, you've fallen woefully short.
