    Legality doesn't determine right and wrong. The German government in the 1940's sent several million Jews to die in a perfectly legal manner. Should we apologize to the SS?

    In a partial victory for the ACLU, the judge said the government must settle any doubts about parentage before separating families by using DNA tests that deliver results in about 90 minutes.

    It has a great deal. You are arguing that legality makes right. I am pointing out that the Holocaust was scrupulously legal, given the nation it was in and the laws of that nation at that time. Taking away the children of refugees is evil, I don't care what excuse you're able to come up with for it.
