This case has nothing to do with Dred Scott or Citizens United or ACA, but feel free to rant.

 

The point is that 'this case', shouldn't exist. The Court routinely uses political clout that shouldn't exist. The Court finds a way to meddle in the affairs of the State(See: Travel ban) ,and its existence is tolerated never welcomed.

The Court has no legal or lawful authority to see the AG's Contacts. So the Department rightly told the Court to zip it. You should be more concerned that our Courts have become political weapons of choice, instead of a neutral site of justice.

 

Democrats are beside themselves once again ... On the one hand you have Dems, Schumer, Pelosi, Warren, Waters, and Franken, who've insisted Sessions should resign all along. Then MSM reports Trump's considering granting them their wish, and so find themselves defending Sessions. Making life even more difficult, is the fact that they truely hate Sessions, and have stated so publicly on hundreds of occasions. Charging that Sessions removal is grounds for impeachment becomes exceedingly difficult. Sessions, despite all the pressure from both sides, keeps pushing Trumps agenda. If this row between Trump & Sessions has been orchestrated to bring democrats to despair, it's working out beautifully.

Mueller has nothing to fear from Wray, unless he's been leaking to MSM. Eventually Wray might turn his attentions to illegal surveillance that began while Mueller was still FBI director. That is where Mueller has reason to be concerned.

This isn't a contest. Wray is more than capable of identifying who procured illegally collected surveillance, and how it was used. Mueller who initially threatened to resign over the enactment of 702, appears to have utilized it frequently, and ignored the NSA abuses for years. He was aware of the potential for abuse, but never made an effort to investigate it as head of Obamas FBI. Wray will defend our constitutional rights. He's a patriot.
