8 cents an hour? And facing the coercion of isolation? Not really voluntary or paid.

How is saying that it is one of the many negative aspects of prisons in general at all “reducing it”?

Is lying the best the Right can come up with?

By the way, you realize your “solution” is indentured servitude, aka slavery, yes?

None of my previous posts mentioned illegal immigration once. YOU brought up that deflection. Why do you continue to lie when I just demonstrably proved that you claimed that illegal immigration and private prisons “cannot be separated”?

Ya all that was fair game for him, bush1 had Jennifer Flowers and Clinton’s also. If it was fair game for those men it would be sexist to not treat Kamala Harris the same, no?

The mass rape is US prisons is unconscionable. All the virtue signalling the left does on "Cruel and Unusual Punishment" and those it holds are subjected to systematic and constant rape? Remember how you folks got all outraged about stress positions during interrogation of terror suspects? Hard to take seriously when its followed up by rape "jokes" from Jack Tapper and complete silence from the virtue signallers. Our public prisons are the most vile aspect of the Federal government.
You act like you think you are getting your ass kicked.
You are claiming that Prison Industry violates 13th Amendment? Are you sure?

#FEMALEPRIVILEGE: WaPo columnist: Kamala Harris’ “love life” should be out of bounds.

No male Republican would be extended this courtesy. But whenever journalists start talking about propriety, or morality, or decency, it’s just a code word for helping Democratic politicians.

In the over all scheme of things your answer (or bigfella's) will not matter. But it may help the discussion. ;) We're all here to debate right? ;)

    What i
Socialism is government ownership of the economy and the means of production. I don't see anything in her platform like that.

Republicans men get it worse but even democrat mens sex life isnt off limits so why should Kamala get special privileges? To not address could be viewed that people don’t think a woman is strong enough to deal with the same stuff men have been subjected to imo

Thanks for keeping things CURRENT. :bored:

Have you ever even considered some NEW material?

    Just a friendly inquiry.

Oh, and back on topic, don't worry about Harris.

It will be OK. You can still sleep at night.

    Carry on. :salute:

Wouldnt it be unfair to treat her questionable sexual past different than men from both parties who ran for president? As far as her viability, Democrats best shot is Beto or a yet to be determined outsider imo

AH, YES, THE ONLY THING WORSE THAN BEING A STRAIGHT WHITE MALE IS BEING A GAY MINORITY WHO IS NOT A LIBERAL. OR REALLY BEING ANYONE THE LEFT THINK NATURALLY “BELONGS” IN THEIR PLANTATION WHO IS NOT A LIBERAL. THEY’LL GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO DESTROY YOU:

Trump stiffs Feinstein and Harris on judges. . .mostly.

I have absolutely no idea. It would depend on your definition, and even then I wouldn't care to guess. It is also tangential to the point I am making. I am not accusing Republicans of being racist, I am pointing out that they are as committed to 'identity politics' as the Dems, perhaps more so.

I think it needs to be acknowledged that while Dems talk more openly about identity issues more than the GOP, when the rubber hits the road they are far more prepared to vote on issues than identity. As an example, the much dreaded and over-hyped AOC not only did better among working class whites than her white primary opponent, she also did better among them than she did among hispanic voters. Voting across complex demographic lines is the norm for Dems - the issues matter more than the identity of the messenger. Not always and in every instance, but for the most part.

Until relatively recently 'government' and 'white men' were virtually interchangeable terms throughout the Western world. Such an arrangement was so normalised that overtly challenging that normalcy and calling it out for its unrepresentative nature was (and to some still is) derided as 'pandering to miniorities' or somesuch. My take on GOP voters, in particular the primary voters who select candidates, is that many of them are still subconsciously beholden to this idea of what is 'normal'. That doesn't mean that only white guys stand a chance in the party, just that they stand a better chance regardless of ability. I don't necessarily consider that so much 'racist' (though no doubt in some cases it is), as narrow & a bit backward looking.

She never said that. What she said was eliminating us having to go through insurance companies. Every other developed nation has universal healthcare and most of them allow private insurance and private hospitals in addition to public coverage and public hospitals.

Kamala Harris Endorses Elimination of Private Health Insurance. That’s a Huge Political Risk.

“I believe the solution — and I actually feel very strongly about this — is that we need to have Medicare for all,” Harris said in response to an audience question about healthcare affordability. “That’s just the bottom line.”

“So for people out there who like their insurance, they don’t get to keep it?” CNN’s Jake Tapper asked.

Let’s eliminate all of that,” Harris responded, “let’s move on.”
