Standards? The only thing we can be sure of in today's modern political era of polarization, divisiveness and mega, ultra high partisanship, is that there are no standards.

Who said anything about legislatures? Libs all across the media and social media are banning speech that they disagree with and libs want the government to use it's power to ban speech. Even the president of the USA is not immune. There has always been an attempt to ban or reduce Foxnews viewership and lately the libs in the media are doing all they can to eliminate Foxnews so they can have an absolute monopoly on the media.

Despite the fact that Fox has a wide assortment of opinion and have tried to be more fair and balanced by cancelling Lou Dobbs, people at CNN and the NY Times are insisting that Foxnews only represents disinformation and should not be allowed on cable menus.

Recently the Biden administration is trying restrict travel just to economically harm red states. How is that not totalitarian?

 

As for government attempts to ban speech you had this moron this war mongering tool on CNN named Max Boot calling for the fairness doctrine as a way to censure Foxnews. They have long wanted to use the fairness doctrine to force talk radio hosts to give equal time to the opposite opinion but they would never want to force Fredo or Don Lemon to do that.

Doesn't matter. With Trump he's blamed as purposely inciting an insurrection even when he outright said to peacefully protest. As such if it can be even slightly claimed that Kamala said that rioting is ok or should continue then under the Trump Hatred mantra she is just as guilty.

Since the word fight has numerous different definitions both sides are showing their bias, I tend to side with the idea that it was a call to action and not just wanting people to go stand and do nothing based on his previous remarks and claims of treason but yrmv...

Harris called for support of protestors, not rioters. She also never told anyone to riot (or fight) to my knowledge.

Yes, both sides have thier biases. On that we agree. But if you're going to hold Trump to a higher standard where his us of the word "fight" means physically than to any other politician or protestor then one set of biases is being more biased than the other.

Yeah, Kamala may not have used the word fight but she did promote an organization that specifically stated that they would prioritize bailing out rioters. That gives implicit approval of the riots. If all things are being applied equally she is just as "guilty" as Trump.

The current game being played is to pretend that Kamala Harris is somehow on the level of corruption, as is the Trump. As if what the Trump did was no big deal, nothing worse than Harris has ever done. It is just another of those fabricated narratives by which the Republicans thrive.

 

No one is banning free speech....the 1st amendment still exists. And no, Biden is not trying to harm red states....that is all in your head.
