Assuming that the black person near you is a criminal and stole something from you, seems to be a terrible instinct many white people were raised with.
These come by a dime a dozen since ppl found a joy to make vids about them. No doubt plenty realize that they are taped and stop their act but not their thoughts.
Not every case of a white person doing something stupid toward a black person is racist. Sometimes it’s just stupidity.
You could tell she was flustered, people's phones especially Women are as part of them as a finger. I have seen them freak out if they MISPLACE it their purse or back pocket.. My girlfriends phone fell out of her back pocked at a restaurant/boat rental/quick mart like hundred miles from the house, long story short, I had to drive all the way back so she could calm the **** down.. People have their entire banking bullshit on them things now, again, especially Women. And her even has all the Walmart employee apps too, so she was panicked, just as this lady was! I'm old school, wallet chained to my belt and a few cards I use instead of catch, the smart phone is just a phone, not even a dirty picture on it
Not from the video I watched! Soon as it rang "TS 1.16" she realized it was in her purse and imminently apologized, all the while the other mouthy bitch continued her bullshit...
What does "karen" mean to you? Does it mean a white woman who suspects a black man took her phone? What about a white woman who suspects a white man took her phone? What do we call her? Debbie maybe? What about a black woman suspecting a white man took her phone? Do we call her Shalika? This type of labeling is racist and demeans race. Why don't we just not label people by race. My story wasn't fictitious by the way. Phones are hot commodity.
A white woman with an entitlement mentality who uses her race to her advantage while quickly getting the police involved because of its bias to defend her in many cases despite Karen being the one in the wrong.
Question Are you whatifisms meant to deflect from the fact that she falsely accused someone of taking her phone?
people do this stuff all the time but it only makes news of the victim is black Also, Is the poor guy gonna need therapy now? Why is this crap even newsworthy?
We didn’t build the reputation some people have. If you look at the mostly peaceful looters of the blm riots and who’s currently doing the smash and grab robberies, then you’d really be swimming against a very strong current if you think it’s more likely they don’t steal phones when they have a chance.
I'd like to know what makes this particular scenario racist? I was once falseely accused at a bowling Alley bar of picking up someone's wallet, the bowling alley manager even took me in a back room and searched me. I got no apology from the people that falsely accused me, or the manager that searched me. I was white and my accusers were white, so let me guess it was not racism but had I been black then it would have been racism correct?
Can you tell all of us what was the point you were making when you started this thread? And I posted a deadly incident of real racism which you just blew past without commenting. My point is you only see the racism you want to see and you see that racism everywhere. But when real racism is pointed out to you and it goes against your agenda of blacks can only be victims and whites can only be racists, then you clam up real good. If there was a word to describe your behavior, that word word be hypocritical.
Two years ago I was stopped by four Mexican Walmart employees who wanted to see my receipt. No one on this board cared.
He has a posting history of either worshipping at the blm altar of eternal oppression and victimhood, or he just hates white people.
I'd really like to hear his or anyone's explanation for why this scenario is racist? Anytime anything remotely unfavorable happens to a black person and there's a white person involved it's because of racism... Meanwhile it can't be the lady made a stupid mistake and tried to double down on it and eventually apologized. I got zero apology for being falsely accused myself. But if I did I would have graciously accepted it not recorded the incident and ran home to post it all over the Internet and play victim
Who cares. Another non issue incident being blasted throughout the media designed to create the impression there is an issue where there isn't. Racism is a non issue, but what little racism exists is overwhelmingly targeting white people, not coming from them.
I see you are evading the question Would this have made news if a white person was falsely accused? Yes or no
It might have originated on tic toc but was on yahoo news Would it have been on the news of races were reversed? It’s cool. The fact that nobody wants to answer speaks for itself
The answer seems obvious to me. Anything that gets millions of hits will make it, even dance videos, people playing pranks, off-the-charts Halloween decorations, etc. Why? Because the number of hits alone proves people are interested in it aka its newsworthy It was in the news because of the number of hits, not because of race.
Wrong.. this gets coverage post because of the races involved.. you may see this one, I'll see one of someone getting coldcocked for no reason.
