Kavanaugh vs Dr. Ford Testimony. The lies...

This is a legal principal in common law. It is applied as meaning that if a witness lies about one thing, they bring to question everything they say. There may be, of course, reasons to lie about one minor detail in a testimony. But when the lie is about the substantive part, it's a pretty sure bet that the person is just... lying...

So let's compare. Here are some lies about the substantive part of Kavanaugh's testimony. And then Kavanaugh's supporter can bring in the same manner (quotes and evidence that it's a lie) Dr. Ford's "lies". Let's see which ones have more to do with the substantial part of their testimony.

Kavanaugh: "Dr. Ford’s allegation is not merely uncorroborated, it is refuted by the very people she says were there, including by a longtime friend of hers”,"“The evidence is not corroborated at the time,The witnesses who were there say that it didn’t happen.”
How we know this is a lie: They said no such thing, and they didn't refute it (2 lies). Mark Judge, Leland Ingham Keyser and Patrick J. Smyth said they don't remember the episode. Keyser said in her statement that she "does not refute Dr. Ford's account, and she has already told the press that she believes Dr. Ford's account.".

Kavanaugh:“I never attended a gathering like the one Dr. Ford describes in her allegation,”
How we know this is a lie: His own calendar, which he himself submitted as evidence, contradicts this. There he wrote on July 1 "to Timmy’s for skis w/Judge, Tom, PJ, Bernie, Squi.” And Kavanaugh himself later says "The calendars show a few weekday gatherings at friends’ houses after a workout or just to meet up and have some beers.” Which is exactly the "kiind" of gatherings that Dr. Ford describes.

Kavanaugh:"[Devil’s Triangle] is a drinking game”, "[Boofing] is flatulence”
How we know this is a lie: They are sexual acts. Easy to verify. Just do an online search.

I could go on. But let's give our pro-Kavanaugh friends the opportunity to show quotes (not hearsay... actual quotes) of Dr Ford "lying" under oath (if there are any). With the corresponding evidence that they are, in fact, verifiable lies. And then let's compare them to find out which ones are better related to the substance of the allegations.

I think a sworn testimony from Ms Ford's ex-boyfriend completely destroyed her credibility as it's proven that she actually coached others how to pass the polygraph test.

Grassley writes: “The full details of Dr. Ford’s polygraph are particularly important because the Senate Judiciary Committee has received a sworn statement from a longtime boyfriend of Dr. Ford’s, stating that he personally witnessed Dr. Ford coaching a friend on polygraph examinations. When asked under oath in the hearing whether she’d ever given any tips or advice to someone who was planning on taking a polygraph, Dr. Ford replied, “Never.” This statement raises specific concerns about the reliability of her polygraph examination results.”

Kavanaugh flaty refutes that any party resembling the one described, existed .... anywhere outside of Ford's own imagination. Until the gathering becomes factual it remains fictional. There is no way to establish that Kavanaugh'r rebutals are anything but truthful.

 

Ford's done; Kavanaugh will be confirmed.

Their testimony goes 100% against her claim so of course he is right. It was refuted and in spades.

How we know this is an actual lie: She not only flew on a regular basis for work and vacation and to the hearings as well but we now have sworn testimony from an ex boyfriend who flew with her regalarly and she never said or expressed any fear of flying.

How we know this is an actual lie: Once again we have sworn testimony from her ex that she did exactly that f

What is difficult... apparently more difficult than even I though, is to find a quote by Dr. Ford in which she demonstrably lies.

I think that's a remarkable discovery I inadvertently made.
