So what qualifies them as being fake? Can't they just be messing up?

In my opinion, those claiming a high ground should at a minimum build something nice to look at. Instead the Christian church and its vocal followers present something very ugly in action and word. If by chance these people actually did as their good books say then there would be no issue but instead we get anger, hatred and deviancy which I try to always avoid. The members of this forum that play in the religion forum are an excellent example, though I have never dealt in person with any Christian who acts as they do. I do not know if they would have the fortitude to attack my atheism in person as they do here but I highly doubt it.

Well they kicked this woman’s kids out I’d school because she was “living in sin” but many of the same people support to the point of worship, a serial adulterer who has admitted to assaulting women and who is married to a woman who made her living stripping naked for lesbian photo shoots

The girls were on scholarship. Also, private schools can kick people out for whatever they want to. They could have kicked the girls out for the incident on the bus.

The sins of the mother should not have any bearing on the children being in school.

I can't see any religiously justified reason for them to not accept the children.

Either all or none who claim to be Christian actually are. In fact if you were to ask a devout if another is....they would ask what denomination and even sometimes which church they attend, even though everyone in that particular congregation has a different interpretation of God and his rules. The entire concept of a "God" is an inherently subjective imagining based on the incredible amount of Gods, Religions, Churches and changes over thousands of years.

I think this is the issue folks aren't comprehending. The schools look at it as a priviledge to be on scholarship. Not a right.

I comprehend it fine. The school is hypocritical in granting the scholarship only to kick them out midterm. Why? Are they going to claim they didn't know the mother was divorced? That is highly unlikely.

Even a private school cannot discriminate, for that is law. As far as the reason why the children were removed it is clear if we were to believed the mother, and it had nothing to do with the bus incident.

Well they do it. So is the school wrong or should parents be held to a high standard? I'm not picking a side. Just asking.

There are other single mothers in that school. It would be interested what their private life is like and why their kids are still allowed to be attending the school.

I thought christains weren't supposed to judges others? That it was up to "god" to judge us upon entering "heaven". No?

So what does that mean? And what if the church leaders and the members said that? Is it just a draw?

For fricks sake, her daughter got into a fight with a bus driver in which the police got called. If you think other parents PAYING good money want their kids attending school with freeloaders who are insolent to authority figures.... you are dead wrong.

The statement from the school read:
Her sleeping with different men would OBVIOUSLY not impact the safety of other children. Therefor the above statement is code that this woman's daughters were THUGS. The school was doing her a favor by not publicizing all of the thuggish incidents involving her children and gave her a nice cover story.

Never thought of it that way. You may be right. It's obviously more than what is reported.

As long as every kid who's ever been in a fight at the school has been kicked out then there's no problem.

I have never heard of a school where fighting with teachers or staff did not result in immediate expulsion, that is assuming we are talking about a physical altercation.
